On bannock…..heavenly 😁

Are we living off of only one sauce for the rest of our lives or we can eat only one sauce with other food?

I’m going with melted grass fed butter w/ fleur de sel

don’t think i’ve heard of that before πŸ€”πŸ€”

fleur de sel?

it’s a hand harvest kind of sea salt.

the wikipedia entry is wrong.

it’s called β€œflower of salt” because in the season where conditions are right for collecting the salt, violets bloom on the shores of the area it originally was harvested, which gave it a slight purple tinge, and slight taste of flowers.

another part missing from wikipedia is the β€œpaludiers” (the salt gatherers) we’re traditionally women, because the work required patience and finesse, and the coastal French culture associated these traits as stronger in women.

Fleur de sel butter was my favorite part about living in France πŸ₯²

How would you rate your experience living there? πŸ€”

sounds dreamy. πŸ™‚

then again, some time in Montreal with grass fed butter and local maple syrup doesn’t sound too bad 🍁

Thank you so much for this πŸ’œπŸ’œ Really interesting history behind it also

Really good clarifying question actually πŸ˜†

The question was set up to get the answer to the second one β˜€οΈ

Never had that, not even maple syrup alone πŸ€”πŸ’œ Sounds really interesting though

I’m going to have a shot glass of maple syrup right now just because I can. πŸ˜†

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ go for it
