At this air bnb and my son locked the door (accidentally 🤦♂️)
Don’t have a key and neither does the owner.
What options do I have?

A hair pin 🧷 should unlock it easily.
Contact the host through the app or with their contact info if you have it
Talked to them. They dont have the key, never got when they bought the house. Live far away, told us to jam a knife in it.
What’s behind that door? I’d call a locksmith and tell Airbnb they should give you a partial refund due to the owner’s negligence.
It was a bedroom. I was able to get it open with a modified butter knife.
Jam a knife? Wow
You could get injured.
Depending on the airbnb policy you could get a locksmith and have them pay for it since they dont have a spare key or any other way to let you in

But for reals, maybe agree with the bnb to get a locksmith in at his cost or some other solution if not.
It should cost them not you.
Abandon all hope. You are still young to have more kids 😜
Best case, talk your son through how to unlock it to get himself out.
Probably an easy pick, especially if the door handle can be used as your tension device. You'll need just enough tension for 1 pin at a time to bind.
For something like this a jiggle key would be the easiest pick but if you are asking us I doubt you have one handy.
Reminds me of a 200 euro bill I had in Vienna once…
Sure you’ve figured it out by now, but keeping a bump key or strong tension wrench and rake is advisable as long as you don’t lock them in the room. 🤣 🤦♂️
I wish the Bitcoin conferences would have a lock pick village like they have security conferences. Fun to the whole fam!
