I mean I was getting such a bad Twitter/X experience without the verification, that I paid for a month of testing. So far, is much better.
Definitely they are also indirectly forcing people to pay and verify or leave
I have 100% been seeing this play out .. every time I get more active mentioning/promoting nostr over there, I become a ghost

Not surprised tho, it was last Dec when Elon threatened to suppress accounts mentioning other social media, and included nostr in the list, that I first heard about it and immediately came here! 😂
It is difficult to tell from that code diff if X-Twitter is blocking #nostr, since
1. "nostr" is not a url
2. there are many nostr urls
They blocked Mastodon urls so they could block nostr ones too of course.
I did find blue to give quite a few interesting benefits and on the whole it improved since Musk took over, but I did get throttled 3 times even while paying for Blue...
...then they fight you...
