I’ve had the opposite problem and maybe it’s somewhat geographical (I’m in the Seattle metro area which is a liberal stronghold) but the women I have dated are unwilling to follow the path I am on even as I’m explicit that I want to be the provider and leader. It’s frustrating and the complete opposite of how I grew up with my dad as provider / protector / leader.

The women I have experience with seem unhappy, unstable and listless while trying to lead and provide for themselves. But at the same time unwilling to change their path. Weird times.

You can say that a few more times.

It is totally weird! And I was actually thinking about that earlier. I think the toxic feminism states that women should not follow men or be “submissive” and if they are, then they don’t believe in feminism. To me that doesn’t make any sense. I’m a feminist but that means there’s equality for all, it’s not about women gaining the power and control in society. Feminism (the not toxic kind) allows me to make whatever choice I want in relationships, whether that’s being the masculine or feminine, or both. I can totally understand how men are frustrated dating some women.
