This is about the 10th one like this exposing the meta data. Becomes meaningless when nobody pays attention to it.

Those people should be using clients that don't use legacy DMs if they care about their conversation metadata being leaked.

Spread awareness about metadata leakage with nip-04 DMs. Use nostr:npub1tm99pgz2lth724jeld6gzz6zv48zy6xp4n9xu5uqrwvx9km54qaqkkxn72 for DMs. It doesn’t even let you respond to DMs using nip-04.

clients still using nip04 dms should disable them imo
When the user clicks the DM button, it should just pop them into nostr:npub1tm99pgz2lth724jeld6gzz6zv48zy6xp4n9xu5uqrwvx9km54qaqkkxn72 😂
