"I don't know anything about this programming language, but I did a code audit and it looks good to me"
Can people add their own to support the effort?
Terrible plan.
They generally have one configured because they are generally bitcoiners. That's a problem. There will never be new people using it without an easy wallet setup.
And a new user just understands this inherently?
Setting up zaps is still the biggest roadblock.
Let's say I just started using Nostr after getting fed up with twitter. I know about Matt Odell and I heard he was here. I try to search for him and that's what I see. Wat do?
SD 1.5? Bro, the local image gen models are so far beyond that, at this point. Flux Dev or the recently released HiDream would be much better options.
And lose any security updates.

The YouTube algorithm has been pushing this video on me for like a month and I kept not watching it. Today, I finally did for some reason and what they have made seems to fit right in line with a project I've been thinking about. Maybe one of you will watch it and see the potential as well, so now I push it onto you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzDnA_EVhTU
Crappy ones, at that.
I guess it's a cool proof of concept.
One of the most annoying things on nostr is when people will reference some program they are using (often with a screenshot or video) without mentioning the name or giving any explanation of the system they are using.
If this is something you've been talking about for a little whilr, it would be helpful to quote the original post for the wider audience.
Is there a client I can use to search for communities?
Me, in the morning after 2 glasses of wine these days... https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/d9a19755e96c583fff2c174d547f612117c4252813a6115b104ab54ee7890487.mp4
Oh good, you're up!
Hey, can you make a way to search for communities by name in Amethyst?
Until it gets mass adopted and the spam problem becomes more than just some guy running a bunch of replyguy bots.
Did that ever even get fixed, or did he just stop?
So, you want the Christians to take your well reasoned atheist talking points seriously, despite the fact that they find your lack of belief in god to be morally repugnant.
However, you refuse to even engage with race realist talking points, because you find the genetic explanation for behaviour to be morally repugnant.
You might think that you're being much more tactful with your replies, but I'm telling you, they look exactly the same as they did 15 years ago. You are replying just like I would have back then. The total dismissiveness of the positive impacts of Christianity is what really turns people off. You are not fully considering the downsides of leaving a vacuum where a decent religion once was. It's not a coincidence that "woke" filled that void for many people. It's basically just christian morality inverted and turned against its own people.
This is the fundamental problem with trying to onboard people. I can't find the actual person I'm trying to follow with a bunch of fake accounts popping up. I understand the trade offs, so it's tough to think of a solution.
It's times like this that I wish I had spent the last two years learning JavaScript instead of python...
