There's still sometimes spam / porn that leaks in through hashtags, but just make sure to report it and the relay runners are very good with removing it. I found people by looking through hashtags, and also by switching to the conversation mode so I was seeing not just what the people I follow post but what they were replying to.
That mode is like lurking and sneaking into someone else's conversation though so I've had some folks imply it's a bit creepy. But haters gonna hate no matter what and it is a good way to get more exposure to real people users on Nostr.
If you start to see too much spam or porn or whatever look into switching up your relays. More popular relays that act as the starter pack will get spammed more. Less popular relays will have more real people and you wouldn't see their content unless you're also in their relay.
It's all complicated and annoying but that's the price of freedom 🤣 and eventually you'll get used to it 🥰

But even Dorsey isn't making anti-porn forcefields. At least he's been spending his time making Square terminals easy and convenient to integrate with Bitcoin, and as such I'm having much success orange pilling people. So I can't stay mad at him even if he is a CIA shill 🤣
