I've held signs at protests, but I think humanity is at the point where all future revolutions will be technological. It's almost not even worth trying unless you're building something.

Building the new future is the way.

Physical protesting is a paid job these days .. there are professional protestesters ( it seems ) available on the hourly rates :-) .. better than minimum wage !

It only enforces the current status quo imo by peacefully protesting as such

Makes other people think such civil obedience is a way to genuine change

Not that I want violence but thankfully we have bitcoin and people 10x smarter than me can code

:)

there is 2 ways to protest, fight the reality or change it

Protests are stupid. I've been at many, it does nothing. Money, votes and news are all that matter to these assholes.

People want an alternative. We just have to build it.

agreed. protesting is a waste of time. we have to build the future

Protesting does very little other then bringing awareness. Protest with your money. Protest by exchanging your country's money into Bitcoin.

Once the world is in the Bitcoin standard, the world will protest using their money and no longer need to hold a sign standing outside using traditional protests.

I am not tech savvy, so I suppose my role is to hold signs at protests. We all have our role to play.

Same here. I’d just argue that it’s the combination of software (yang) and socialware (yin) that will bring about a new civilization. Easy to forget about the latter when we are behind our keyboards.

The internet is still inferior to the real world when it comes to getting shit done. The internet is not even close. There are many systematic problems that the internet is facing that it has no good way of solving and that real life has solved long ago.

Try tweeting. It fixes everything. Just like Bitcoin.

Came to the same conclusion dude: the modern revolution is done through the keyboard, no need to riot on the streets
