Inflation destroys lives in so many ways people can’t even begin to understand what’s coming

When you consider purchasing power we are already way behind the great depression. And it's getting worse and worse.

I always set my base case at Argentina 2001, it helps me focus on the highest probability things to prep for

it's a good approach

argentina is the future

I have learned more studying Argentine economics than almost every economics text book. Chileans have a great saying when you ask them why Chile is so nice, they say they just watch Argentina and then do the opposite.

doing the opposite of whatever argentina does is a great rule of thumb

Funny how #chile went full #left on their last presidential election just like #argentina did before the pandemic. Now #argentina is about to turn #right on Aug 13th and later this year because #populism didn't work as expected with ongoing 200% YOY projected #inflation so what would #chile do?

Atleast Chileans weren't dumb enough to change their constitution to Marxist drivel. You think Argentina is going right? The new IMF loan agreement with disbursement happening after the election has me thinking otherwise.

it's all the same. Left or right. There is no difference.

There are no solutions in politics

Most sensible comment about #politics

It’s all a cute talking point until it doesn’t go away, and just gets worse.

Companies have NOT been compensating employees for inflation, they have actually been holding back in this ‘difficult economy’.. The shitshow hasn’t even started yet, people are getting sick of these prices.. not cute any more!!

companies can't compensate employees for inflation just like you can't outgrow a metastasized cancer

Over here the media is blaming increased wages (to compensate for all the inflation) as one of the causes of inflation

Argentine situation is the near future, 100% inflation an there is no gov building in flames... a nice experiment to test how the population react, there will be diff with other cultures, but 20% inflation in Europe? 15% in EE.UU? what will be the reaction there?

Bitcoin fix this.

People are already like 60-70% slaves, plus they have enslaved their children and they are foo fucking cowardly to face that truth and taje responsibility. And yes, for those in the fiat world, it will only get worse.

As the nephew of an Argentinian, I was fortunate to get a heads up. Es muy triste.

Yes. Here is the US, we have been complacent, but even we are in danger now. Not quite yet imminent, but it is coming.

It destroys lives in such a perverse subtle way that the masses now believe it's a fact of life

Take Argentina, fucking decades of inflation and people complain but keep voting for inflation

Only hyperinflation makes the masses react

While a BTC Hodl is essential, the enemy is fiat. Best to park money in hard assets, appreciating assets, collectibles, basically anything other than cash. The alternative is being directly robbed of our value, entirely.

Inflation == actual cirtulation supply.

Price rising << side effect of inflation + money flow status + amount of people working +....

Inflation means increasing circulation supply every day by "printing" . To keep prices at same level people needs to work more or more new people needs to work, harder and harder, deeper and deeper into slavery system. It is like frog in water which is becoming slowly boiled but never realizing it, slow death happening...

Unfortunately, you are correct 😎

This! You should be stacking like you've never stacked before.
