Straight up didn't install over WiFi. Used a lan cable. It worked, but! I couldn't get it to receive wifi.

Gotcha. I like to keep my node plugged in so I didnβt mind that I couldnβt get the wifi working either. π
No problem. I'd rather a wired set up. But my internet service provider didn't account that I would need one for a node.
You could get a small network switch. Comes in handy for those extra devices π

fwiw this is because your hardware probably needed a proprietary WiFi driver that was not included in the StartOS binary. With 0343 (later this week), we are including a bunch more non-free WiFi drivers into the non-free ISO, so it will probably work just fine
