Having a black and tan in honor of my old man’s birthday. He would have been 56 today. Love you, legend.

cheers brother.
Cheers brother
Man, Whole Foods has some pretty good prime rib.
Do you mean a half and half?
"The term Black and Tan has a totally different connotation in Irish history. (fairly recent Irish history, at that) “Black and Tan” was the nickname given to the British paramilitary force “formed to suppress the Irish independence movement in 1920 and 1921.” They were mostly of ex-servicemen who’d served in World War I and they all wore khakis and dark shirts."

All true about how you order in Ireland, but there's a difference between a Half & Half and a Black & Tan:
B&T usually means Guinness and Bass Ale, while H&H is Guinness and Harp. H&H more common now, since we don't find Bass on tap in many places.
Damn…too young.
Cheers to him. Bloody hard navigating things without a father, been doing it 15 years now myself, so know the feeling. My dad was a brewer, so a beer is a great nod to the previous generation
Mines been gone 15 yrs too … it never leaves you 🙏♥️
RIP
Brought tears to my eyes Marty 🧡
I lost my dad & personal hero, 15yrs ago.
My 4 siblings & I picked this song for his funeral…I think you will appreciate it.
This is wild for me as I’m 56; no wonder I feel protective of you, like a cyber mother.🙏😘

my pop was 31 and died climbing in the sierra nevada mountains when I was 5. I feel it too brother. one of my bucket list things is to go hike up somewhere near where he was, and pour out a can of Olympia. ( Ya dude, he drank Oly.)
Very honorable!
I knew you were a fellow Irishman Marty 💚
