I haven’t gotten a migraine in probably 15 years. I had a killer one last night, felt like I was on death’s door. I couldn’t stand, couldn’t lie down, thought I’d end up puking my guts out. nostr:npub17meshv2lg6rfyuwzgh349yslllq7aathd55xu0jgjns2ayz6rt2seplm8u told me to pet the dog, which I did for about an hour, and then finally went to bed. I woke up at around 6:30 this morning and it was gone. I learned that this is sometimes a lingering effect of surgery and reduction of painkillers. But wow, that was not fun. 🤕

Sounds miserable. Glad you’re doing better!
Don’t you hate it?
Life’s what you make it.
I have learned that the red light bulb thing actually does help... but I hope it's another 15 years before you have the opportunity to try it.
Sorry to hear that! My wife has a history with migraines and has been trying Botox injections on a regular schedule. So far so good 🤞 I hope you don't have to endure that again.
We couldn't appreciate a painless experience without the pain.
I used to get them all the time as a kid. Drink lots of water and massage/push hard on the soft spot on your palm near the base of your thumb. Doesn't fix it but helps dull it. Squeezing the bridge of your nose right between your eyes helps too.
Glad you're feeling better and your dog saw you through the dark hours. 🙏
Sometimes surgery can be dehydrating to your system..... coconut water can help quickly rehydrate. Hope your weekend involves exponential healing 🙏
Brutal. Glad it passed.
Petting the dog is always a good thing to try. I heard it will also remove seed oils from your body.
I do my best! 💜
Have you tried carnivore. Really recommend it
