I didn't know you 'liked' things 😅

Oh those are people trying to get my attention. I did 448 likes before only zaps happened

The likes count over 90 days seems way off.

There's only one who needs to trust you, and I believe you give them your full trust :)

unequivocally

I would think you would be higher. GM Mr Wedge be blessed. Oh soil blocker worked great. Just put 12 of cilantro and 12 of basil in the ground yesterday. Im going to get some more started. Thanks for the recommendation

Great to hear bird! I still am 4weeks from any plant out. Data on nostr is always funny

It's starting to get warm quick where I am and cilantro bolts on me quick sometimes. Tried the slow bolt this year so we will see

Sorry, couldn't help but eavesdrop. Gonna look through your history for soil blocker talk (don't even know what it is). I happen to be growing those same two herbs right now

Ah thank you, I was not finding it.

Oh nifty device. Growing some for first time, and so far so good. Got some chives on there too. Probably have to sort out the spacing at some point... may have gotten carried away with seeds after first attempt failed

Looks great, watch the chives they will continue to propagate if not kept in check

Thanks for the pointer. No clue what lessons I'll learn once things get going. Assume I'll have to cull some of the plants that are too close together.

Also got a similar sized thing of lettuce (something ate all of them recently, so now have to cover with a mesh at night), and a couple tomato plants. If all goes well maybe I'll expand a bit next time

I don't use any pots now and my seedlings grow about 2 weeks faster than the package suggests

Wooooow! Didn't know you were some sort of mad scientist! So many questions, but will hold off for another time. Looks very cool!!!

Follow #farmupdate i am happy to share any knowledge. Please feel free to create a list if you like

Followed. Will keep in mind.

One thing I wanna ask real quick is, my tomatoes are growing real fast (the plants). I've read that I should prune a bit, but hate to cut what's growing so nicely. Prune now?

Nice mini-farm 🤘

These are my seedling, 1k started last week 5k more plants to get started by end of may

That's awesome! Looks like you've got a big growing season ahead. What are you planting?

Solid idea

Are those trays you stole from McDonald's?

“₿orrowed”

Interesting. Any downsides?

I get to antsy and plant ahead of my last frost date, then have to nanny plants that are getting leggy

Totally worth the money. I didn't have time to do my own soil mixture so got the best potting mix I could and used rainwater and some kelpmeal with some dr earth with a sprinkle of mycorrhizal powder. Is it going to help? No clue but I figured I had it around so worth a shot lol

I tried to keep it simple first go around. High quality potting mix, some dolomite, a bit of fertilizer. Just followed some instructions I had found. Maybe after a couple go arounds I will try this advanced stuff! It's been more rewarding than expected, and enjoying learning the little ins and outs of gardening.

What do you use to put the soil in/on

I use lunch trays from Ikea for the 2inch blocks see through take-home containers for starting

I've used a tray and a bucket. I find the 5gallon bucket works pretty good. Anything you can get a decent amount of soil built up on will work I would think

Low score. I must be a fake woman.

How do I properly read that?

I think these are all input from other accounts. I guess I have received 116k sats in 3 mo & had 638 repost

Comments not listed 🤷‍♂️

Lol I'm a five. I guess I lurk WAY too much. When everything is a permenant record of my thoughts and the EU acts the way it does, I'm far more mindful of what I put there. But because of it, I have a low trust score. 💁 Can't win for losing. Ah well.
