You prompted this ones?

No, they're collected from OpenAI employees on twitter.

This is mind-blowing.

Kids doing their own animated full feature movies when they want to relax and learning about ants with 4 legs for their biology homework 🤭

I'm also a little nervous about people finding ways to make extremely realistically violent videos.

They gonna need gpu power, probably hard censorship will he implemented in the publicly available ones.

Porn has the money so maybe biological porn will be soon a thing of the past when this gets cheaper than paying for actors.

These are some great examples - I saw some brilliant examples of when it gets it wrong too, in the same way the image generation ones do - weird physics, floating creatures that don't exist, dolphins swimming in the air above the water 😄 I knew it wouldn't be long till this was possible. Personally I'm looking forward to being able to tell my computer what kind of movie I want to see, characters, cinematography, plot twists etc

Not exactly the same but close enough 🤭

Yeah I love that one...but pause that first frame and see if you can figure out what that creature on the far left is 🤣

3 images, two are biopersons, shot by a biphotographer the other one is generated by OpenAI Sora model...but which one 😉

First is real, 2-3 are ai?

Nope 🫠

1,3 - real

2 - the one without makeup is Sora AI

That’s what I guessed!

Because of the shadow below the cap and you can see hair shimmering over the cap

Crazy how there are some clues but you really have to be focused to spot them 🫠

AI is just recreating things. It has no basic understanding of things. If you have this in mind you can always find some clues if an image is AI generated

The fact one has to carefully look for the ai artefacts to distinguish the AI one is quite impressive. In a year humans probably won't be realiably able to tell what's what in most cases.

By that time the movement in videos will also become sorta convincing.

Photos taken by smartphones are "fake" for a long time. Now AI will take it much further. The output of the smartphone photography will be increasingly an AI interpretation of a complex data captured in a brief moment.

"Raw" photos from dedicated pro cameras will look amateurish in comparison unless an absolute master uses it (often with extra lights/flashes etc).

If there still was some reason to use dedicated consumer/prosumer cameras up to this point... they are 💀 in a few years.

Actually, I predict that there will be a growing demand for real images and reputations will be made for offering those exclusively

As a niche yes.

Third is AI. I think...

No, just the 2nd 🙂

the third photo the OpenAI?

Nope, 2 is AI 🙂

I’m doomed!

My guess

I think 2 is ai. Or even number 1. Bottom line I have no clue really

Yes! 2 🙂

I had to look close. It’s amazing. The give away for me was the upper lip under the nose.

it was easy because the neural net doesn't know how to knit a hat.

1,2 - ai, 3 - bio

1,3 - bio. 2 - AI 🙂

They’re all AI.

Nope, just the 2nd. 1 and 3 real persons.

Hard to tell. The last one either has some over-sharpening done in Photoshop or it’s the AI one. The depth of field of the foreground objects looks weird as well.

Just number 2, the other ones are from photographers 🙂

Wow, even the reflection of the eyelashes on the iris/pupil.

That’s crazy … it’s hard to tell even if you know it (i.e. from hairs coming out of her beanie).

On the other hand even regular photos are created with software these days and have artificial portrait effects, post processing and the like.

2

Why does the sexual orientation of the photographer matter?

Lmao 🤣

These are what make me think ai gen. Wrinkle is not bio and that hair curl defies physics

But golly that's incredible

Now combine it with 3d model generation 🤯

Hat design patterns point to 2 being ai.

the blone is the real one.

Yes, but also 3. Just 2 is AI.

2 is AI i think

Also what this means for "photographic evidence". And I don't mean online, I mean when someone breaks into your property and you take photos for the insurance company. Or if you are acused of something and you need to proove your inocence...

... and what ifthe only evidence that you have is heavily AI processed photo taken at a critical moment, because that's the setting that was on the camera at that point. Or maybe there is no unprocessed mode in the camera and it censors what you can take picture of. "I'm sorry, I can't take a picture, do you want the illegal bits to be replaced by black bars or perhaps flowers?"

Some kind of cryptographic tech together with a "forensic/clean mode" could help though.

Number 2 with the knit hat is AI

#YESTR 👍

Haha nice 😂 Incredibly realistic image though.

If you don't stop to look closely you don't notice it, brain fast checks it as real

💯

Sora does stills? I thought the main idea was videos?

Yes, it can also generate images up to 2048x2048 resolution

I would date all three.

In the same time 🫠

🤣

Easy… the lady.
