My dad says this is cool
That's not going to start any "something big is going to go down" conspiracy theories.
And I thought someone named Jack would promote the Jackery solar generator products.
Regardless, I'm from Utah and try to remain loyal to local companies whenever possible, so I'm sticking with Goal Zero products.
Anker is def the way to go
All these battery generators are fairly weak. Convert a diesel generator into bio diesel and it’s 5x’s as effective in terms of working watt hours and true functionality
Its encouraging to see it finally come to market. The cost/density isn't really there on this iteration but the larger ones are more compelling... either way, its nice to see it in the wild.
I like this one great value for money:

Can’t power an S9, tho.
There isn't a whole lot of feedback so far.... Have you tried it or seen it in action?
I have this one. Works well and the solar panels work with other battery packs that I have
Oh that's neat too. I like the under 1k price point but broader utility might be worth the extra. What do you most commonly power?
I have 4 different battery packs. A small one to power my modem when the power went off. I have this anker one which I’ve used to power the refrigerator during a power outage and I have two of these that I’ve used to power computer and other random things
Awesome, thanks. I've been debating with myself about all this for a while. My backups really need an upgrade.

Oddly enough, I was recently searching for portable generators. Does anyone know how this compares to more popular generators (Honda seems to be the most popular, but curious for companies)
Do you know something we don’t? 😳 Do we need to start prepping?
