I'd be nice to have the media request only appear when trying to use app functions that call it. Make it easier to be in a view only mode.

May I ask are you using Amber?

I gave in and gave permissions. This is absolutely incredible, amazing work! This is a must have app. If viewing was the forefront experience and the creator dashboard was still simple to get to but the secondary I'd say it was a perfect app to go head to head with any other livestreaming service.
It's hard to believe it actually works, but it does.
Lies, i am sure you did not try to livestream because i am sure you would failed server connection errors like me 🧐

Hi Constant, out streaming server zap stream had some issues two weeks back and we've made progress since then to resolve it.
First of all I hear Kieran invested quite heavily in new infra, and ZS appears more stable since.
Then also for Shosho we made it so you can use any server you like, not just ZS. So if you want to stream to CloudFlare or self-host an SRS or whatever you want to do, you can now add and use your own server of your own choosing.
There's a user here who sets up their own API Video instance.
If that's hard, just keep using the default as ZS is back online and stable.

Got a connection error with the zs server, tried the basic, good and best. Same thing for all of them.
At first i thought it might be an amber issue, because it kept going through permission screens to the point i just entered my nsec into the app in order not to die of epilepsy (the amber switching was rather erratic). But that did not fix the issue. There was more amber stuff acting weird, but its way past my bedtime and im tired so i maybe get into that some other time. App looks good though, and watching streams went ok.
I did try to livestream, it worked, I even watched my own livestream on https://zap.stream/. But it was a couple of days ago.
