A few years ago my dad died, and I dedicated my next successful significant ascent to him.

I want to do the same for my mom now; I couldn’t say a proper goodbye, so at least I will try to give her a farewell in this language.

I’m quite out of shape, so this will take probably a year or two of training.

This note will be the anchor point to that journey.
