If he lived in Israel then he was blind or never noticed how horribly the Israelis treated the Palestinians, as he defended the genocide as honorable which is repugnant to me and others.
As far as me reading Hitler's "My Struggle", reading the book doesn't make me a Nazi and since my school days I have been aware that the "six million Jews died" mantra was a manufactured number, however I will say that the farther I get into the book the more I realize that it reads like a current account of events happening now and also what a genius Hitler was in the beginning of the National Socialist movement no matter how it ended.
If you can be persuaded by Nazis to read Hitlers book and defend it, maybe thereās an acceptable reason for a Jew to come to his conclusions about Israel? Honestly Iāve had that book recommended to me by someone who is not a Nazi as a way to consider other points of view. Iāve found too many more constructive ways of doing that to spend time reading it, but I donāt think itās necessary a bad thing to do. I certainly donāt have first or even second hand knowledge of what is really going on over there and can see intelligent people be very wrong about what is going on in my own town. My point was that you and that other guy are being very hard on someone who has good reason to have the views he has and I donāt see any evidence that you have access to anything information that he doesnāt. He seems plenty capable of verifying information in other areas and my only questioning of his views is the ability to objectively view the situation. Donāt radicalize people further for dismissing their primary knowledge because you think they should have come to a different view.
Fair enough. I appreciate the intelligent and cogent conversation.
I had a gut reaction to ShitShit and I just didn't like his narrative, and muted him the same way I would mute someone who posts pedo pics, or spams nostr with other things that do not interest me or that I disagree with.
