Turns out these 600 gram ribeyes with butter pan sauce I've been eating had a LOT of calories
Your boy got fat, but I'm actually pretty good at losing weight when required

If you were on carnivore diet I find it hard you gained weight
Tight squeeze in the benzo
Carbs -> become sugar -> insulin response-> store fat. Stick with the steak and butter!
It’s the other stuff you ate alongside the ribeye, I can assure you
Have to tie a carnivore diet with intense exercise and periods of fasting. Basically like many carnivores that hunt their food and frequently fail to catch it or when they do they feast well and don’t hunt for a period of time. Otherwise you will pile on the weight.
Wrong. If you don’t eat carbs then you can eat as much steak and butter as you can but you will not gain weight.
Erm ok…
Retarded lmfao
That's the principle of the Atkins Diet. You shock your body into ketosis, and maintain a ketotic state by keep your daily carb intake under a certain level.
Atkins had suffered a heart attack, congestive heart failure, and hypertension, before his death.
Doesn't surprise me. A lot of the dangers of his diet weren't understood when he devised it. It wasn't til 5-10 years later that all these people who used the diet started developing problems that were then linked to it.
I did Atkins for a year back in my 20s, and while it was extremely effective in helping me drop the extra weight, I got diverticulitis a few years later, which is normally something people in their 60s get. I had to have surgery to remove 7in of my intestine, which was unbelievably painful.
After that, I figured I was better off just staying on a balanced diet. I'm predisposed to carrying a little extra weight, and I just resigned myself to it.
Thank you for sharing your story. So sorry to hear that brother. So happy that you are on a better path.
Sorry to hear about that - a very unpleasant experience! As a biologist, I agree with you. I stick with a more balanced seasonal diet, slightly skewed to a higher meat, and definitely low refined sugar intake, but I don’t skip out on the fruit, veg and potatoes. Ultimately I find the most effective way I keep the weight off is simply through regular aerobic exercise and short stints of fasting (both of which induce ketosis too, just not as drastically). Weight falls right off. But if you lead a sedentary lifestyle while stuffing one’s face with unlimited butter and steaks things are not going to end well. Observe nature - energy/food acquisition is nearly always tied to energy expenditure pressures such as proof of work(hunting)/competition/survival/hunger/threat of starvation thereby creating an energy intake/expenditure balance that keeps one trim. Very few overweight wild animals out there.
I was kind of a psychopath with the Atkins Diet. You're only supposed to be in the super-low carb phase for the first 2 weeks, to trigger ketosis. Then you're supposed increase your healthy carb intake until you reach a healthy balance. Well, I stayed in that induction phase for a whole year, consuming less than 25g of carbs per day. As I said, it was amazing for weight loss, but I'm sure my extremism is at least partially to blame for my later medical problems. At this point, I'm happy where I am. A little bigger than I'd like due my genes, but definitely more healthy.
What the fuck are you eating then fatass?
Diet shitcoiner blames on steak is no different retards blaming Bitcoin for inflation
Sounds like you need to do some lifting.
Oh, I see.
