Ok, it seemed like I needed to install a browser extension, tried on my mobile and didn’t work.. will have to get technical now….

Ok, didn’t do the extension way, just created an account, attached wallet, got my Damus badge and didn’t even have to leave the couch! Go #[4] !

What if I don’t want to connect and use alby but instead my own lnd node? Is they option for that cause I don’t see it under wallet in Damus? Says not a valid alby string.

Yes, there is a package for connecting your LND node. For Umbrel it is a bit easier: https://blog.getalby.com/nostr-wallet-connect-comes-to-umbrel/

No need to install a browser extension. You can register an account also on getalby.com. That's enough.

Only if you want to use the account in the browser you need the the Alby extension or for mobile use cases you can connect Alby to Zeus app.
