Met a Vietnam veteran while I was walking through D.C. today.
He saw my shirt and said βIsnβt Bitcoin fake money!β
Had a short conversation with him and gave him my information.
Just received the below message from him. π§‘

How did you frame it? My attempts at orange-pilling seem to just confuse more.
I start by asking people: As technology advances and productivity improves, should life get cheaper or more expensive?
Everyone agrees, price should go down. Yet weβre raised in a system that conditions us to believe prices should rise. Few people ever ask why.
Yeah, I usually frame it in the context of discussing with the person what money is, and I never get a person that says, βItβs the thing that represents and stores the value of the energy a person or entity expends to do something productive, that canβt be devalued by another entity.β People donβt get that. I usually discuss the deflationary effect of technology as well. Itβs hard to make people understand without them doing some work on their own, and a lot of people just wonβt do that.
I wondered the same thing
Nice!
Great work! Each one teach one really does work.
THAT is the way.
Great work, sir π

Bitcoins are still confusing to me. By the way anyone know how to set up a wallet on Nostr? I'm confused about how to do it.
Can you please dm me the same info lol!! I'm trying, but every time I think I know where to start I end up even more befuddled.
A lot of people new to Bitcoin and other decentralized technologies would benefit from this knowledge! I struggle to value the pros over the cons, myself.
Do you have a blog post or Note you can share that will help folks like us?
