6 months ago I would fully agree with this statement, the only context this is missing is the advent of nostr. Now we have an open social backend, which is interoperable with any client. I also donโt have anything against musk, he is a great, though sometimes questionable guy, he just helmed a dying company at a very wrong time.

If your argument is that nostr has to prove itself and it doesnโt compete with Twitter now, then the answer to it is yes Ofcourse.
My argument is that nostr is a breakthrough in open platforms. Ofcourse it isnโt beating Twitter right now, big networks take time dismantle. But nostr has proved itself to be an effective alternative, at least it has done it for me and a lot of people in my list.
And yes itโs nieche, but guess what, so was Twitter and so was Instagram, Iโm already seeing a lot of people who were not necessarily โbitcoin crowdโ on here and learning about it.

There's no need to "hate" Twitter either. Twitter is Dorsey's first successful product, and Dorsey is also one of Twitter's shareholders. There is $1 billion in funds left on Twitter. Twitter is by far the best social software product.
