I can receive Zaps but still can’t Zap others via my linked nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 account.
Is it an ongoing issue with nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 and/or nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg?
Or is it stemming from my lack of technical prowess?
Any ideas nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle?
Primal doesn’t let you zap with other wallets besides their wallet built into their app. I don’t think you can connect it to your Strike account either. Press the big lightning icon on the bottom to set up your wallet.
Ironically their wallet is a strike account though 😂
And, I can receive zaps into my strike wallet via Primal, but just can't send them. -- Also, I don't see a "big lightning icon on the bottom" to set up my wallet.
Receiving is possible cause your lightning address can receive bitcoin, but it can’t send bitcoin. 
So is there an easy remedy for this?
Use a different Nostr client or setup a wallet in Primal. If you’re using the web app, Primal currently only allows zapping with Alby.
This seems to be the issue. And, apparently, I can only set up an Alby account via an invitation.
I can send you an invite. DM me your email address. Alby is self-custodial now, but you can pay them to host a node for you.
I ran into this yesterday when setting up. Here is what worked for me:
1. Set your VPN outside of USA
2. Download Wallet of Satoshi direct from website
3. Setup through NOSTR client to connect to WOS (I just sent 5000 SATs from Strike to fund it
4. Turn off or move VPN back to US
5. Start Zapping
This was not suppose to work but has been fine for sending and receiving
You can’t zap with WoS on Primal web though. Currently they only let you zap with a WebLN extension such as Alby.

What client are you using?
I use amethyst to zap from my strike account but I have to jump out to strike to complete the zap. It's a little slow but it lets me zap from my dollar balance so I'm burning dollars into nostr economy.
are you using the built in Primal wallet or are you want to use Strike to zap? to me it sounds like you want to use Strike itself. if this is the case, you'll need to go into Primal's settings and disable the built in wallet.
tap your profile pic, go to settings, then wallet, then toggle the use primal wallet option to off. then you can zap from other applications, such as Strike.
oh... if you use iOS that functionality is very different. you may need an iOS expert to help with that. i am but a mere noob at iOS.
Yes, I use iOS. I don't have (or see) a "Wallet" option in my Settings.
Apple for a while was blocking apps that supported zaps ⚡. I don't know if that is still true but that's probably why you can zap. 😕

This seems to be the issue. I'm blocked from zapping others on my Mac desktop (using Primal) as well as my iPhone (using Damus). Not cool, if true, Apple.
Yeah, same here with iOS. Can receive zaps but have to zap others from an external wallet, which makes the zap entirely disconnected from the nostr note.
Not happy about that.

Strange. You might have to force close the app. Then check setting to make sure zaps are good and you have a wallet connected or an address in your profile. I use my Zeus address but I have used Ally before. In Damus you connect Alby in setting Wallet.
Actually, I restarted the app and I now see the lightning symbol.

That’s what makes nostr nostr.
Unfortunately, Primal does not support Nostr wallet connect on iOS. The only available option to zap users on iOS using Primal is to activate our built-in wallet.

I couldn’t figure out how to do that either. However, nostr:npub15nrj3vfln4pn04f7m5llhdh6k4vdj3sgfl9mvc0xe8p0lulgup9sumvsd9 hooked me up with a Damus-compatible script that is working well.

It seems like this could be better explained somewhere. I still am unable to connect the built-in wallet due to mysterious reasons.
Sorry, not sure what you mean by connect the wallet. The wallet is built in and will work with your Nostr profile if you’re using Primal to zap users. If you’re using a different client to zap users using your Primal wallet, it won’t work
I emailed you about this a couple days ago and you said you would check with Strike. I should have used the word "activate" rather than connect, since that is the terminology your app uses. Regardless, I continue to get an email reply saying "Our apologies, we are not able to activate your Primal Wallet based on the information you provided"
