I tried to ⚡️zap you some welcome sats (bitcoin), but you haven't set a #lightning address in your profile yet 🥺 Setting a lightning address allows anyone to zap you some sats when they value your contribution, want to say "hi", or any other reason! Good options for beginners to get a lightning address include the Wallet of Satoshi, Speed Wallet or Minibits (for US users) lightning apps 😊
I can also help people check their #nostr address is working (if they have one). Nostr addresses are not mandatory, but some people like using them to add a personal touch to their profile. If you like, I can give you one for free at "yourname@minestr.app". Just get in touch! 😊

Nice! I will definitely check these ones. I'm trying Alby, but seems like it doesn't have a free node anymore. And I'm not into setting up my own yet. I presume all these wallets you mentioned are custodial ones, right? Did they transfer to on-chain no problems? Good fees? Primal compatible? Lot of questions haha
Unless you're hosting your own lightning node, then yes you'll need to go custodial. WoS and Speed Wallet allow you to send to an on-chain address, I'm not sure about nostr:nprofile1qqstxwlea9ah3u6kjjszu6a7lrnhqkfh8eptp2z6v0e9558tlkkl2rgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshszxnhwden5te0wfjkccte9ekkjmnfvf5hguewvdshx6p07xr4s5, maybe they can chime in. All should be compatible with primal 👍
Minibits doesn't allow on-chain transactions, but Breez Wallet does! Breez is a self-custodial wallet that manages lightning channels transparently in the background with no user intervention required. It operates like custodial wallet, but is actually self-custodial behind the scenes. And it had integrated on-chain transactions. When you click send or receive, it offers you the choice between lightning and on-chain. And you don't need to open your own channels. It handles all of that automatically. It just takes a 2500 sat fee on your first transaction, and after that you're just subject to standard network fees.
Does Breeze provide an LN address?
It doesn't provide a lightning address (user@appname.com), unfortunately. That's the one feature it's missing. It just works with standard lightning invoices. But its combined ability to transact on both lightning and chain networks, and its seamless, transparent lightning node functionality makes it a great foundation wallet to base your funds out of. Combined with Minibits, or Speed Wallet if you don't care about NWC, it's a great option.
Of course, Speed Wallet also transacts on both lightning and on-chain, and it provides a lightning address, so that may be a more attractive option for Nostr users.
The only thing that bothers me about Speed Wallet is that it's 100% custodial, so you're relying entirely on the Speed Wallet company to responsibly hold your funds. With Breez it's self-custodial so you get a 12-word seed phrase that you can use to restore your wallet if necessary. No such thing with Speed. If something goes wrong, you have to email support and hope they do the right thing.
Yeah, the lack of LN address is a deal-breaker for use with nostr. I'm just trying out Minibits, it's very nice. But as you said, no on-chain yet. I'm sure it's coming soon though, as integrating boltz swaps is quite straightforward I believe.
If you want on-chain, lightning, and lightning address, Speed Wallet is the only choice. Just be cautious about putting large sums of coin into Speed Wallet because the custodial nature. I'm also keeping my eye on Coinos.io. They've got some issues to work out, but it's got the potential to be a excellent wallet option.

Wallets:
Depends on your technical level and how much time are you willing to spent understanding and setting them up:
1. The inpatient with no time to waste and who doesn't care to use custodial wallets:
Go for wallet of Satoshi, add it to your profile and don't do the NWC (network wallet connect) setup. When you try to zap someone, the wallet will open and the invoice will load, easy and setup free.
2. The curious one with not much technical expertise but eager to learn:

2.2. Sovereign App (mobile app)
Two good options, both support cashu and LN⚡, start learning about cashu, IMO a game changer for small payments. Sovereign offers novelty features I consider a must have.
3. The tech savvy:
3.1 GetAlby running AlbyHub
3.2 Sovereign running your own mint with your own Clan (mind blowing)
3.3 npub.cash - get your npub followed by npub.cash and use it as your wallet address to receive LN payments and cashu payments, use AlbyGo or Phoenix for zapping
