Yes. In all seriousness though, I use my local community credit union and I have never once had any of the issues people talk about when using their bank. I do all the same types of transaction you would expect to do and never with any issues. Keep it local. Keep it small. Support your local farmers market. Pay in βΏitcoin/sats.
I went further. They invited me personally to talk about their 2% funds and probably dump my money into it and I didnβt even go! Never called back π§‘ππ§‘
I recommend just being honest with them. The tellers d9nt k ow shit and they just follow the script. This will at least make them aware they can't help.

I was at a local event last week and a nice woman that was a financial advisor approached me and gave me a card, told me to call her if I wanted to talk about my retirement, financial planning, etc. I told her I had a financial advisor and his name was Satoshi. I shit you not. She asked where he was from, and I clarified then, and said I'm heavily into saving with Bitcoin. She said she didn't know much about that, but a lot of her clients had been asking her about it this year. I wrote my email on her card and gave it back to her ππ I said if your client's need advice or have questions to contact me.

I wouldn't even have a bank account if I didn't have to pay my bills through there.
Iβm with a credit union and as far as banks go itβs been pretty good. From a customer standpoint I have no problems. Theyβve given me anything Iβve ever asked for and have great interest rates. Still donβt really keep any money there outside month to month operating expenses. Decades ago I used to bank with Bank of America and Wells Fargo before them and they were 100% the worst predatory places.
But yea I look forward to a bankless future. Itβs coming slowly but surely.
I like Credit unions and I know they've really taken off in the US They had a heyday in the UK but they've slipped into abeyance since. Kinda sad really.
