What's your opinion on sourdough bread? It has a 54 GI rating. I eat it a few times a week, my wife bakes it, really delicious.

Italian food supply in general is less toxic than North American. No glyphosate and less hybridization and manipulation of plant foods. Don't kid yourself though, the Italians are getting fatter and more diabetic due to their diversion away from their traditional diet..
Yup. Once you eat only meat you won't want bread anymore. All breads are processed foods and all are highly addictive..

I used to eat steel cut oatmeal and blueberries every day but noticed it made me incredibly sleepy, and then I found out about the glycemic index of oats. Felt totally scammed.
