Hahaha, also a kind of proof of work ...

What is the magic of Nostr?

magic = bullshit in those contexts

#nostr doesn’t need that

All you bitcoin-only peeps in my feed, yes YOU, go create a new profile, and come here EVERY DAY and post some non-bitcoin content. Photos, recipes, dogs, kids, camping, books, nature, sports, finance (not bitcoin), mountains, lakes, rainbows, classic cars. Post links, videos, gifs.

Make no mention of bitcoin on that account.

I know it'll be hard for you....

But, WE NEED THESE THINGS.

Do your part.

Make others see that NOSTR works.

We see it, now guide others.

Baby steps.

Speaking of social websites, nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx, i'd love to hear your take on friend.tech. 🤣

Wow. Did not know this.

If I’m not mistaken EkşiSözlük (a social network in Turkish market, started as a clone of UrbanDictionary) did the same thing to eliminate its opponents. Quite common then we all think.

Next you may be surprised to learn that bar/nightclub owners hire prostitutes to have sex with male patrons during their opening weeks to generate “buzz”.

Or that pharmaceutical companies bribe the FDA for preferential treatment.

Or that the world bank is a criminal enterprise.

Wait… I think you already know that. :)

Hahaha. Gross. :)

Let me invite into #nostr my friends Jessica37459, Amy234499, Sheila99213 and their two hundred thousand sisters…

Let’s shift the “tone” of Nostr away from Bitcoin-only! 😁

PS: I will do my part. I am not here for Bitcoin, or even Monero. I came here to shill #Beam! 😉

🤯

Hey nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx , that is like one of the thousands of #startup stories you read in books like #theleanstartup . It is really funny to read what #entepreneurs do to create a success storie. But we should not laugh and not forget that #Satoshi was mining himselfe for a long time to make the #Bitcoin network grow.

I feel like most VC-backed startups have to fake it till they make it in some regard.

So I need to setup 1,000 fake accounts to do my part for freedom tech

“In 1993, Gary Kremen saw potential in online dating, but the world was yet to be convinced. Kremen had everyone in the company create a profile on Match.com, including his girlfriend at the time.

This trick helped the company grow the number of users, but it came at a cost. His girlfriend met another man on the site, and left Kremen for him.”

Either a Frankenstein like story or great marketing, either way he probably has no regrets.

In bitcoin this is called washtrading backed volume.
