Yeah, I'm aware of the fact that Dogecoin has been the top performer in every bull cycle that has happened since it has existed. But people might not, your statement looks like and opinion, and to top that off the risk is much higher so it is arguable still that it is just an opinion, forward looking the risk reward ratio is still in Bitcoins favor even if historically that risk has paid off for Dogecoin.

The irony is I have tried to mine monero. However i have never actually had any monero from mining on a computer.
When i mined it on a cell phone long ago. I lost what was mined.
My opinion of monero is that it is good stuff, but I will never go out of my way to buy some, or trade bitcoin for it. Only way i could see myself getting it is if I get a computer with a shit ton of cores for mining, or someone gives it to me as a gift. Which would be cool.
As far as litecoin goes. I have owned some in the past, but that was when i had a shitcoin addiction. Those times are long gone.

It took a long time for me to realize there is no second best. No one has ever come close to taking 1st place against Bitcoin. So if this was a race and you knew ahead of time who the winner was going to be every single time.

This is why I only have 3 dollars in fiat left in my wallet. With all of my retirement fund in Bitcoin, or precious metals. I only back the real winners now.

Just, because something is a shitcoin does not mean they don't serve a purpose. Many do have value as tools and utilities. Just like fertilizer does for growing crops in the fields. I just have no reason to own them personally.

Personally out side of monero I think bitcoin is the second most used cryptocurrency currently but it’s not like either one has a big list of places to buy/sell.

I've never touched any other coin except Bitcoin, because I've spent many hours learning about money to know Bitcoin is the only reliable solution to fix this broken monetary system and the best way to preserve and grow my wealth.

It did take 3 years before I started to run a node, but I'm not running a LN node for the moment.

I would advise against running your own LN node except for a Zeus node in da phone… but that’s just my 2 sats as I do not want to deal with running a LN node… maybe I’ll try that again when I finally get my sever up n running…

I started using Zeus when wos left the USA market… I have had a great experience with it & the few times things got weird it’s pretty easy to get ahold of the team here on nostr…

Zeus node in da phone requires you to accept each zap from the zaplocker unless you have it set up to receive payment when you start the node up.
Zaps sit in the zaplocker 4 up to 24 hours before getting refunded to the sender.
Both zappers should show as received now as I redeemed them from the Zaplocker

Bro I started in 2017 I’ve tried tons. Too many to name. But now it’s just bitcoin and a bit of monero because I’m interested in the privacy aspects of it. It is the only other coin that is remotely interesting. IMO

I've tried lots of stuff and come back with positive and negative conclusions. when we criticize something, it's good to have experience and know what we're talking about. I'm grateful for monero but I have repeatedly mentioned things I dislike about it. being any kind of maxi is bad.
