Keep thinking "should I switch to iPhone" but the second I look at this (Obtainium) I immediately go "naaaah". The freedom of Android is too sweet.

Obtainium is a tool that manages releases and installed versions of apps directly from GitHub.

I never thought "should I switch to iPhone" for the exact same reasons 😅

Apple fanboys in shambles

Zap.store is also promising.

are you using android stock or Graphene ?

It's using microG, so I don't think it's stock

Is there a reason to use microG instead of graphene's sandboxed google play?

I switched to android and graphene os for this exact reason a year ago and I'm not going back to the apple cage!

Very based

Tobo, elaborate please. I think this is a very interesting subject any many could benefit from knowing what your thoughts are.

Well. There is not much to elaborate.

You left a prison and chose the freedom route.

This is as based as it gets.

Sorry, I misunderstood 🤣

Yes it is indeed liberating but not without a few hickups and something I miss the bells and whistles that apple undoubtedly has.

Very nice tool, i use it for a long time allready.

Nobody: Keep thinking "should I switch to iPhone"

Once you enjoyed the freedom of GrapheneOS or other free Android rom, there is no turning back.

I'm trying to publish an app to the Apple store. They are so full of shit in their review process that is unbelievable.

I'm not purposefully switching to thei r platform anytime soon.

MicroG only for Vanced?

haha totally with you on this!
