I’ve noticed that the Climate Crisis is the new world religion and the same people to bought into the Pandemic BS are now going all in on the Climate cult.
I really shouldn’t be surprised at all.

It's one cult event after another. Like a Netflix binge haha.
Also hey Catty! 👋 How've you been?
Hey Jay! I have been good thanks, work has been very busy - I’ve been very boring ha ha! And I started a new exercise class that’s been great fun but I forgot about a bunch of muscles I had and have been reminded of them. Grin.
How have things been on your side?
Boring isn't that bad, haha. I've been a the gym more too since I gotta strengthen up, and it's the same deal 😂 My work situation changed a bit, so I have a lot of free time to work on personal stuff, so I started working on a nostr project. We'll see how that goes.
Glad I am not alone with my Bambi muscles 😂
Wow a Nostr project, sounds exciting, can’t wait to see the fruits of your labour Jay 😁
You’re still busy with the Soft War project too, which is brilliant. Maybe some more audiobooks?
😂🤣💪
It should be pretty cool, but it's a lot of work 😅 I use Neo4j and graph databases for my fiat work, and I want to bring that to Nostr. There are too many possibilities it's hard to settle on what to actually work on.
I am still doing softwar because I'm just so on-and-off about it. My voice gets tired pretty easily since I'm not much of a talker, so I really picked a project that goes against my strengths with this one. But I'm dedicated so I'll get it done for prosperity at least. It's probably going to end up being something like 35-40 hours of runtime for the whole book.
I think having things to work on outside of work is important and makes life busy but also meaningful. Plus you get to exercise your creativity in ways we don’t get to at work. I’m sure you will manage to narrow it down to a few good ones and then from that something will click 😁
It’s interesting to hear you say that about the book, but you do have the right voice for this book. And often “out of our comfort zones” help us grow.
I have just read a book where the main character was challenged to do all kinds of things to help her fail in order to build her confidence and that planted a seed in my mind.
Thanks, I'm sure I will. It's really good to take a break from my fiat work to work on Nostr, and really fortuitous that I'm actually just building on the same skill set, but out of my comfort zone 😂😅 I'm always doing that and it sucks, but when you look at what you can do afterwards, it's worth it. So what are you going to fail on to build your confidence?
Recording softwar has just been super humbling mostly. No planned timeline has ever stuck, only just straight up doing it and taking whatever bites I can out of it 🫠
Hmm I have been thinking about that question for a while…. What am I going to fail on to build confidence? I started small with being committed to my exercise stuff. Next up going back to eating better. But the hardest ones are self work.. I’m a people pleaser and this has to stop so it’s going to be the hardest challenge.. I’m not going to lie I am afraid, to say no and be unpopular and uncomfortable, to have to face conflict and not smooth things over. Sounds so so silly.
These are all great, and I'm not gonna lie, I pretty much have focused on these too, along with my career in software and other things.
Like, I've done martial arts for a while, but I could still stand to be in way better shape, so eating right, fasting mode often, and lifting are things I want to really do well this year. Eating better is the hardest thing because "better" for me now is what I thought was bad growing up.
Harder than being a people pleaser tbh. A couple years ago I had my whole social life irl melt down to the upside and got left with significantly fewer people to please and fewer reasons to please them. It was really a blessing. I'm not saying to burn down your life, but man, there are people out there who are so weak and sensitive that pleasing them is just a way to control you.
It’s nice to know I’m not the only one working toward improving myself 😊
Eating better
Sleeping better
Brain food and moving better
There is merit in cutting down on the drain to your personal bandwidth by having fewer people or fewer reasons to please people. You make a good point here. I have divested myself (mostly) of the manipulative ones and cut down my friend group to the good ones. Personally it’s still a big goal to people please less this year. 🙀
I’m grateful that you shared your thoughts, thank you 🙏🏽
Definitely joining the next “31 exercise things” challenge with you 🎈🎈
At least online (maybe even irl 🫣), hit em with the
😂
Tee hee!! There are some I’d love to!
You’ve made it really pretty 😁 who can be upset with a purple GFY? 🤣🤣

That was Dawn's creation actually 😂🤣
Also what are these obj things? Is it some iOS thing I'm too android to understand?
Oh sorry! I made some stickers of this cat doing a karate kick but it obviously doesn’t work outside of this phone. Back to the drawing board!
Thanks Dawn you legend! I can now tell people to bugger off in style 😂
Lool
Well, the GFY is from this emoji pack. I love it, works best on amethyst because you can start typing in :gfy and actually just paste the image link.

Also, if you're going to the exercise class often enough, maybe you'd want to join the next time we do a #31days challenge of some physical activity every day for that time. We did it in January and it was great.
Sounds great! I’m definitely interested as long as it’s not just 365 days of push ups 🤣🤣
The Climate Cult are being assaulted with common sense by many countries and industries. Net Zero is a scam and is damaging global business. Corporations are slowly backing out of it all
I was reading through the annual reports of a number of European companies and admiring the fact that they spent at least 70% of the report on their ESG endeavours, how they managed to get all the right colour people in the right colour boxes and then the financial carnage at the end of the report because they weren’t doing any real work.
The next report will be fun 😂
