Yeah lots a bot use vpns. Get a good paid one. I notice such prejudice from Reddit and GitHub though.
Yeah i also realized youtube basically impossible to use with mullvad... ๐
Still works for us. Just the language the ads are in changes. Ticketmaster on the other hand in pretty unusable with Mullvad.

You need a high level of conviction sometimes to put up with it.
Yea lots of my basic services i use in my business are blocking VPN's. Even my own self-hosted VPN's.
How can they block your self-hosted VPNs? Makes me wonder.

Even if not doing anything โillegalโ, I never understood the region-based rights for media. The concept of not speaking the same language as the region you currently stay in has to be mindblowing to media corporations and distributors. They are lagging behind the present like 20 years, if not more.
I still remember 2008 me going to KFC for a free WiFi to download a crack for FIFA08 I bought because I didnโt have internet connection in my apartment yet.

I've been seeing so many recommending it even recently and when I mention this, I get no replies.

But it feels like I'm just playing whack-a-mole and I don't think this has a smartphone solution.
Seems complicated and some of the marketing is misleading. I think they need to work harder on the "simplified" part in terms of product and marketing.
I found it easy enough, but the inability to resize the window and even run in full screen threw me off so far.
I've only used the isolated browser so far.
Try tor. Sommerfeld mentioned recently it YouTube does "only" block VPN buy not tor exit notes
additionally NewPipe is a good alternative to YouTube
That was a good alternative but since weeks it's just frustrating cause every video won't play. I also tried clipious and freetube but it's basically the same.

VPN providers have incentives, I expect them to come up with solutions. But I am afraid that not for only 5eur/m.
Or maybe having VPNs blacklisted have a noticeable impact on website's traffic. This one sounds less likely but let's see.
