Most of the time, when you think you’re hungry, you actually need water.
Discussion
I am in this, and I’m not sure how it makes me feel… 🫠
Meaning you feel hungry rn ?
*most - not all.
Me being constantly dehydrated has become a meme here…
I’ll often go a week with just consuming only a litre or two of water…
I really have to actively remind myself to hydrate 💜
Oh wow.
You would dehydrated af.
You do realise you’re body is like 75% water right ?
You can go for weeks without food, but to starve your body of water is extremely suboptimal
It honestly feels like unnatural even, I’d say. The amount of water that I’d have to consume especially.
I’m aware of the given fact indeed, but yeah 🤷♂️
Drinking water feels unnatural?
Must just be you have carved out a very strong habitual behaviour to dehydrate yourself and normalised it?
I don’t actively try to dehydrate myself. I just forget to drink if anything, or I just don’t always have water around me, when I’d like to have some 💜
yeah. I guess the difference for me is that in prioritise it.
I won’t go anywhere without my water bottle.
That’s absolutely true 💜
I used to always be dehydrated and then i started constantly carrying a 32 oz reusable water bottle around. Just having that with you all the time is a reminder to drink more water. I now drink at least a gallon a day.
I just drank about a litre of water rn
🤣 🤣 🤣 Too true. When I'm too hungry and I think about it the hunger continues until I take water and it's like I ate
;)
The thing to note here is the thoughts.
If you pay close enough attention to your physical body (fasting is the best way to highlight this imo) you will notice that the sensations are not of your physical body, but of your mind.
It is your mind wanting dopamine.
If you attach to the thoughts - thinking they’re actually you, or even your thoughts - you are just distracted from what is really happening.
Truth!
