Hey man the noodles look fantastic , but I always wondered , what is the little white star with the pink swirl in the middle about ? Is it a special type of egg or something like that ?

Also , do Japanese people eat ham often ? Is that a traditional way of eating the noodles , or is that a recent addition ie . Within the last 100 years or so ?

Thanks bananaman.

White star is…A boiled fish paste with a whirlpool-like pattern .

Roasted pork fillet originates from China. Ramen also originally came from China, but many flavors were created in Japan.

Thank for that information !

🍜🫂Thank you!

This 🍥name is Naruto.

This is the origin of the manga Naruto.

Oh yeah , I've heard of him , he's pretty famous, the whole running with your hands behind you thing .

Neckbeards love all that stuff man .

Lol Bananaman

Loved him x

Me too.

Also got a strong sense of Deja Vu.

Did we talk Bananman before on Nostr or was that with someone else?

🍌

Think it was us bro XD

Lol hell yes! 🫂

Man , is the dandy even a thing now ?

If it is , I have no doubt that they probably have trashed it like they have done with everything else , it's probably all PC jokes and stuff.

Remember in the Beano they were always beating up the nerdy poofter whats his name , Walter , he was always playing with his dollies and shit , they probably stopped that I would say .

No idea. Not familiar with The Beano tbh.

I grew up in The Netherlands, but back in the 80’s we did receive BBC and Sky. That’s where I must’ve seen Bananaman.

You seen him on television ! Right , well he's a character from a series of childrens comics called "The Dandy" , you could get it at the newsagent every sunday , or if you signed up for the " Beano club" or the "Dandy club " , then you got it sent though the post.

It's a shame there isn't anything like that really these days , it was a nice little ritual .

Sounds craic!

Those were the days man.

So glad to grow up in the analogue age.

100 percent man.
