My buddy takes those pills too but they don’t seem to help. Im glad my ancestors sucked a lot of cow titties because cheese is a huge part of my diet.

I drink milk and eat cheese daily. But, you know…without the lactose

What’s a go-to lactose free cheese? Im curious because Ive never had to think about it.

Swiss and Parmesan are naturally lactose free because of the way they are made and aged. For other types they sell lactose free versions. Same for milk. I usually get 2% without lactose

Good to know, we eat a lot of parmesan in this house so when the ⭕️ finally gets around to a house party I won’t poison you by accident.

Thanks. That’s thoughtful of you ⭕️

Well the true mark of a gentleman is two fold: 1) never insult someone by accident; 2) only poison on purpose.

I always try to live by those rules

Have you ever tried a2 milk? Some people find it isn’t the lactose that is the issue but the a1 beta casein.

No, first time I hear of this. Is this something widely available? That I can find easily at the grocery store?

It is moderately available. Also if the milk says it is from jersey cows it is a2

I’ll look. I think most of the milk available is made here. Then again we probably have a2 milk too

Probably Whole Foods would carry something like this, farmers markets sometimes advertise this kind of milk. Depends on the breed of cow.

No whole foods were I live. Maybe in other provinces but unsure. There is a weekly pop up farmers market close to home. I’ll check it out

I too am glad I have the lactase persistence gene. I eat a lot of dairy. Delicious cheeses, yogurts & milk🤤
