Good morning 🌞

(I wrote this in the morning and wasn't sure if I would post it... So yes, sometimes I have to share my thoughts in the hope of being understood, even though I know that my view of life is in the minority here on Nostr 😢)

It's always strange to me how some people ridicule a vegan lifestyle while promoting carnivorism.

But why choose veganism? The reasons are many, and for me, it's simple: no living being should be exploited or die for my survival. It's not about striving for perfection—just doing the best I can. My mission is to contribute, in my own way, to making the world a kinder, more empathetic place. A place where compassion flourishes and where health and enjoyment are abundant with a plant-based lifestyle.

Regardless of the diet someone chooses, health is never a given. It’s essential to build a foundation of knowledge and to prioritize eating fresh, organic, and unprocessed foods—what some might call "clean eating."

If someone believes that a carnivorous diet is right for them, I won’t argue. It serves no purpose. We’re simply existing on different levels of awareness. Those who align themselves with carnivorous animals—lions, wolves, tigers—are often focused on personal (or ego-driven) health and believe that to be the right path.

Btw: Animals that are eaten are mostly herbivores themselves, consuming grains, seeds, grasses, etc., which are then also found in their flesh. We humans don’t actually need the animals' protein; we need the essential amino acids as building blocks to construct our own proteins (found in all plants).

For me, veganism is tied to spirituality (not religion), empathy, anti-speciesism, and love for Mother Earth, all while nourishing my body in the healthiest way I know.

Saying, “I love animals,” while consuming them feels like hypocrisy, something that doesn’t align with my values.

I could list endless reasons why humans aren’t designed to be true carnivores, but that would only create more tension and drain my energy. Instead, I’ll simply leave you with this: "Be kind to all kinds" 💜

And by the way, there are people who live for months or even years without consuming food and remain perfectly healthy. It all depends on awareness and consciousness.

What needed to be said, has been said. 🙌🏼

Well thanks for your post although I don't agree with the things that you propose forward. The idea that 1 individual should have empathy for all things around is a nonsensical idea because at the core of the idea it is that you should have empathy for all living things no matter what and regardless of their creation and or origin. Now if one is to take a realistic and rational look at the amount of time 1 has 1 only has limited time on this planet therefore 1 cannot have unlimited empathy for all things on this earth ,If empathy is the basis for your choice of how you live your life then you are placing an empathy on the things that are outside of yourself thus neglecting the things that you choose for yourself in order to appear virtuous or in harmony with what you believe is mother Earth.

One could argue that in order for you to have empathy in any way shape or form 1 must have a realistical and logical awareness of oneself if you neglect thyself how can you have empathy for that which is around you. All basis of life is created from energy from that of another source. One could also argue that all plants are a form of life and if you truly believe that which you propose that all life is worthy of life Then you wouldn't even eat food that is of plant-based so if you were to truly follow the logic that you were proposing you would literally start yourself to death

thank you for your thoughts. Yes, I understand what you mean. There is no perfection here...It is also true that plants are living beings. After all, we all come from the same source. But plants do not have a nervous system like animals...And so they cannot experience pain in the same way. Maybe pain in a different way? I don'r know... But if we assume that plants actually feel pain, then it is even worse to eat animals, because the animals have to be fed plants first. So a person who eats animals causes twice as much suffering.

we are trying to see plants and animals and humans with a previous idea in mind. even with a nevous system, each living being experience pain in a different way and I notice in myself that my thoughts and beliefs affects a lot of my perception of pain. while giving birth to my babies I felt some kind of pain, but I think it had a lot to do with my mind and my traumas and not because my body was designed for that (and even though I could spend 30 hours there, feeling it was the most incredible thing I had been through) - I saw other women giving birth and some of them felt pleasure. I don't see pain as a bad thing in itself. there are many labels in this talk. I don't know the answers but I think none can give an answer for anybody else but themselves - all we can do is really investigate within ourselves and see where are our choices coming from. but I certainly agree that the way we treat animals (and humans) doesn't seem healthy and painless.

and about compassion, I think it only can be true when it comes from a kind of eternity feeling - so it really is for everything. but when we feel compassion, it's not felt by the individual or the ego, although it is included and can be aware of the experience.

how do you feel about these words?

I love the deepness of your writing! Thank you so much 🙏🏽💜 I will feel into it and come back later to give you my opinion. I feel far too tired today to accomplish anything remotely intelligent...😴🤪

listening to your body seems to be a very intelligent thing 💜

thank you for seeing the writings with deep eyes.

Plants themselves maybe, but they give willingly of their fruit.

I'm in the mood for a steak now

Yes, you will probably go hunting right away with your bare claws and tear the animal to pieces with your fangs and eat it bloody, including the insides, without cooking or seasoning with herbs and sal, like a real carnivore (sarcasm off)!

Sal is OK🙂
