All of it sounds epic, until you mentioned using a microwave

Do you eat fruit after noon as well?

Yes, but I reduce carbs into the evening, following the sun.

What do you think of the idea that sleep is a high energy state and that you need some sugars before bed to avoid low blood sugars that wake you up in the middle of the night? I may have that all wrong, but i thought i had read that a few times from peaters?

It's valid.

If your liver can't hold much glycogen, providing sugar into the evening and through the night, then adding some gentle energy will help.

Liver health should also be examined. Taurine can help. Increasing glycine. Perhaps NAC or glutathione is needed. Worth getting labs to evaluate why unable to sleep deeply through the night.

My liver function is pretty good, so I find a small snack around 7PM, maybe a small glass of milk with honey, is plenty.

I haven’t really had issues with sleeping through, but i have been experimenting with some milk and honey before sleep and have been enjoying it. Just wanted to make sure i wasn’t doing something counterproductive.

Long term eating after sunset can contribute to leptin resistance, which can be difficult to overcome.

So long as your thyroid, thiamine, and liver status is good you'll probably be fine, though.

Good to know, thanks!

The goal should be to heal /optimize liver function to the point that you can eat when the sun is up, and fast when it's down.

This'll ensure healthy leptin sensitivity which will contribute to overall metabolism, creating a net gain that is preferable to snacking directly before sleep.

That being said, if you are waking up with low blood sugar in the night, fix that first, including temporarily eating some easily digestible carbs at night, before ultimately improving liver, gut, thyroid and thiamine status.

Eat healthy

How about eggs?

I’m out in the sun. Every single day. Swimming in the river and getting the best exercise.

Microwave? 😭

It's a good shortcut when making antiseptic mushrooms, as you cook them so long there's no nutritional content left, just antiseptic compounds and insoluble fiber.

Obviously don't microwave real food. We're talking about cooking medicinal antiseptic at home here.

Or be my guess and boil over a hard rolling boil for 4-6 hours.

The concept makes sense, pretty much blasting them until there’s nothing left of them, likely not consumed every day either.

Aye. Normally cooked = not antiseptic.

This more of a homemade medicine/supplement than it is a food.

They are still very yummy.
