On Bitcoin Magazine’s YouTube channel, Saylor’s keynote has more views than Trump’s.

387k vs 267k

I don’t really have a point, other than it’s mildly surprising. I think more people probably saw the Trump speech because the live-watching numbers were huge, but it seems that the interest in people later watching the Trump speech isn’t too high.

To be fair, watching Trump talk for an hour is a chore.

This is anecdotal but I thought my Trump loving/non Bitcoiners friends would mention it but only a couple asked. So my guess would be not that many Trump "normies" caught the chat ...

However I do think wall street and institutions took note.

When you haven't watched anything from the conference:

Didn’t miss much ;)

I seek out everything Michael Saylor says. I have never once watched a Trump speech, nor would I.

Neither, have the best interests of the community, at heartšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø.

The most interesting thing that Trump said was ā€œhave fun playing with your bitcoinsā€

And while I do have fun playing with my bitcoins, Michael Saylor is moving the needle for the space.

Only logical conclusion: Saylor for Prez

I have been contacted by someone using your profile Lyn, different np

She can only mute and report. Just like you

I watched RFKs speech twice... when he said Lowery would be one of his first hires I about wet myself

Western financial privilege innit

Sailors viewers are captured, and Trumpā€˜s viewers/Trump are isolated due to suppression by YouTube

Not to mention that it was a typical rally speech for captive audiences. Sovereign individuals with critical thinking, is something polititians are not used to addressing and to be honest his speech was not really interesting.

Spent too much time agraviating oponents without showing he understands the ecosystem core values..

Trump’s was a pretty poor speech, tbh.

Saylor is wrong on many points. 1 of those is that it’s not all about number go up like he preaches. Mortgage your house and triple maxi into Bitcoin is bad advice.

i watched Saylor's today actually. still haven't watched Trump's.

I just watched RFK's speech and, unlike Trump's, it's actually coherent.

Like, the bar is pretty low in 2024, but I actually gained some respect for him.

RFK has actual intent & meaning that he’s speaking about. He seems honest about wanting to create a more peaceful, healthier & fairer (infinitely less corrupt!) America.

Trump is just babble & innuendo to get other empty headed & mean-spirited people to vibe with him.

It would be nice to see RFK’s numbers go up.

Unfortunately, he's still basically a Democrat. But at least he's the old kind of Democrat, from back when Democrats at least pretended to care about civil liberties (and Republicans pretended to care about government spending). Those were simpler times…

I couldn't finish the Trump keynote, it has more of political rally than a keynote on BTC.

That's becouse we can watch the same video of Saylor 3 times, and for the Trumpers watching the highlights on other platforms it's enough.

One can actually put together coherent thoughts. The other not so much.

You people are gonna vote how you will vote. If it’s Trump the world has to deal with Dimon, if it’s Kamala then we have to deal with Warren. I would argue Dimon is worse because he is more effective.

That's the wrong # it had over a million earlier. That's probably since it was re-upload

The Saylor talk was unbelievable. I think it will stand the test of time as either the greatest prediction or the greatest fail. But I guess that's #bitcoin. Ride or die.

He really didn’t make any announcements that shook bitcoin world. Didn’t tell us anything new. And if you even slightly paid attention since 2016 you’ve heard him repeat the same crap over and over. I dont understand how anyone can sit through that garbage. He won’t win. His base is small

Trump's a tourist, only there for the votes. He panders for his own benefit not for the benefit of Americans whereas Saylor's a bitcoiner with his proof of work for all to see.

It was kind of boring.

Could also be due to more Google fuckery but, honestly, I can’t stand listening to either of them šŸ˜€

Trump didn’t offer any price predictions

Interesting observation. It could also be that Trump's speech was live-streamed and re-shared in multiple places and the views are skewed as a result.

I didn’t listen to his speech after reading the main takeaways.

Man doesn’t understand bitcoin

Average Bitcoiner might be smart enough to understand Trump will say whatever he needs to say to max his votes and will have coin flip chance of keeping his promise if he gets re-elected. This makes his talk not very interesting.

Cant help but wonder if some of this is also caused by the algorithm similarily to how for some users DT is not suggested by Google in the search engine.. šŸ¤”

my favourite part was trump saying staple coins and then not understanding what they were , then not being able to fathom that other people might know what they were

The review factor of that Trump speech is also literally zero.

I recommended the Saylor speech to several friends, but avoided any recommendation of the trump speech.

No one would rewatch Trump unless they like pain. Saylor was worth rewatching.

Trumps speech was a dud.

First (and last, I hope) Trump speech I've watched in its entirety. Awful. RFK orders of magnitude better. But yes, I get it, it's surprising given that he most likely is the most powerful man in the world come november.

good

Hopeful sign.

A talk of Saylor on Bitcoin who has thought long & deep about the matter is certainly of much more value to the audience.

We just wanted live confirmation of particular memejaculations.

Lyn I would like to hear your opinion on Lutnick's speech.

Giancarlo Davasini, referred to as Giancarlo by Lutnick, lives in the same region as me, which is Lugano, where Tether and Bitcoin are heavily promoted.

It is a complex puzzle, from the US Treasuries owned by Tether to the $120 billion declared by Tether as collateral, to the fact that they are the seventh largest Bitcoin holders.

Trumpā€˜s speech is on big MSM youtube channels. I used the one that popped up in my feed.

nostr:npub15dqlghlewk84wz3pkqqvzl2w2w36f97g89ljds8x6c094nlu02vqjllm5m understands Bitcoin, Trump doesn't. Trump is trying to get more votes, Saylor is trying to make more Bitcoiners. Big difference. Wish I could vote for Saylor this November šŸ˜‚.

We are still a small community

Most normies are fed from mainstream media - they watched snippets of it on their favorite brain-numbing CNN or Fox, and didn’t bother watching the whole thing or researching any term they heard and didn’t understand.

But the ones who were curious - will be intrigued to learn more, and that makes me happy.

I watched the Trump speech on Fox then finished it on sky news.

It’s available everywhere else first, basically. It must have tens of millions of views total.

Regardless of what he said, ppl have a genuine interest on Trump’s presence since he might be the most popular poltician that have a pro-bitcoin(🤄) agenda. His speech changes the perception.

Tremendous numbers, huge. It’s going to be American numbers, lots and lots of American numbers. More numbers than anytime before, with more numbers

It’s because Trump isn’t a Triple Maxi

Signal-to-noise ratio.
