This. When I was young a neighbors pitbull attacked me and my mother while we were out walking, it bit my mom on the arm, requiring stitches. When my father returned home that evening, he grabbed his rifle, went to the neighbor's, and put a round into it's skull. Doggie found out. Small town rural living 😂

I assume they were pissed. The neighbors were not the most popular family in town, as it wasn't the dogs first incident. They were kinda trashy, and I don't think they knew how to train a dog. They moved away soon after.

I guess if there are no regulations, at least you should be allowed to be armed and put an aggressive dog to sleep. But yeah, I'd also rather have some rules around that. It doesn't need to be state enforced rules either, but it could be disallowed on a community basis
There’s no amendment for pet ownership. It should be treated the exact same way as driving a car.
