Wife called a plumber to her work last night who quoted her $3400.00 to unplug a sink and modify a plumbing.
I spent half the day, snaking and plumbing for $77.00 cost.
Guess who is a hero tonight? 😃

The plumbers around me own Lamborghinis I’m not kidding
🛠️💪🏼
Go make another lil biter now! 👏
I assume the plumber is the hero and wife is pissed it now cost $3,477 and a 1/2 day delay?
Pays to be handy
Now you negotiate a $1500 sat buy, take her out to a nice dinner, buy the kids something nice and send the plumber $25 in sats
Feels good doesn't it? I love to quantify the value of fixing my own stuff.
Insane costs … that would cost around $100-200 here
Had a similar experience with my septic tank. Feels good.
Let’s goooo
New side business 💪
As a tech worker with connections to many in the skilled trades, you can make a great living and avoid college debt. We were all lied to about college. It isn't for everyone and many that avoid it make a great living. Many with degrees do not. Both paths are right for different people. Find a marketable skill. That's the key.
Who’s the plumber now lol.
That’s an insane quote.
That’s like $850/hr savings. Baller even for a shit lawyer like myself. Well done!
U da man!
Lesson here:
ALWAYS CALL THE PLUMBER FIRST

Some contractors just need to be shot in the street like a dog.
Sorry I’m not sorry.
True, as a contractor myself I see a lot of yahoos in the business. Some just play the numbers game and that works for them. 🤷🏻♂️
Certainly, not all contractors suck. However, I am a magnet for some of the all time shittiest one’s on the planet.
It’s like an explosion of people calling themselves contractors happened post 9/11. Before that I was always able to get high quality guys.
Contractor licenses are like realtor licenses lol
That South Park tradesmen episode sums this up perfectly
In her eyes 👀 you'll always be #1 in the #2 business.
I wish you a romantic evening!
