Thank you for all the prayers and love. Honestly, Nostr, there is no second best π. The good news is that my baby girl is finally breathing on her own. My wife finally got to hold her yesterday. Everything is progressing well, and maybe she can finally come home soon! It's been a long couple of weeks. The bad news is that she failed her hearing test, which got us a little worried, but I read that it's common for premature babies to fail their initial test. We will remain positive. Thank you again for all the prayers and love, it really lifted our spirits. Love you all πππ«π«

So glad to hear about the wonderful progress!!! It is absolutely amazing how strong babies are. Can you imagine how wild that would be if adults were able to recover at this speed!

My son βfailedβ his first hearing test despite me showing clearly that he can hear. Theyβre not that useful imo.
Happy sheβs doing well though!

Best of luck my guy
Amazing!! Iβll continue to pray for you all! π
Stay positive and weβll keep praying for you guys π«ππ
Great news π«π. Try to stay focused on the positive news and hold her as much as you can.
So happy for you!
Thanks for the update!
Prayers for you and your family, we will be having our first child in a week and a half. Hoping things go well since my wife has high blood pressure, so the baby will be coming a bit early for us as well.
So glad to hear she is doing better!
I studied sign language for 6 years, and fell in love with deaf culture. So while I hope her hearing does come in, there is a beautiful world of language and experience for deafness.
Awesome! Happy to hear she is breathing on her own and your wife is doing well.
Iβll continue to pray for a full recovery. π
Encouraging update!
We speak continued healing for your babyβs hearing in Jesusβs name
Glad you have good news. π« Hereβs hoping you are all together at home as a family soon.
Congratulations!
If I can be of any assistance please let me know. My twins were premature and in the NICU for 2.5 months and 3.5 months. They are now 19 ! Time flies. But the NICU stress is quite awful and overwhelming. I will keep praying and I am thrilled to hear such a great update. She is beautiful and perfect.
Glad your wife is doing well!
Iβll say a few words for you and your family.
Congratulations fren.
They always fail the hearing test. Its an unreliable test with many false positives. Its worth going back to have her tested after a few weeks or months, and I've heard if you don't show up you will call attention from the county and subsequently CPS (so don't fuck around with the test), but its a harmless test and supposedly the earlier you learn about a hearing problem the more likley they can correct it before its permanent.
Little one is a fighter! Qapla'
Glory to you, Ivan, and your House π

Man thatβs tough. Same thing happened to us 8 years ago march 3rd. She blew two holes in her lung and had to be sedated for almost two weeks while hooked up. She flat lined at one point and I watched them submerge her in a tub of ice water while they prepped everything to protect her brain. All good now! How everything works out for you too! Itβs tough. Hang in there.

Praise God! Continuing to pray for your family π πΏ
Great news! I hope everyone will be at home and healthy, soon!

Oh wow didn't know. I will be keeping y'all in my prayers. Congratulations though.

glad to hear she was able to hold her, not much that would scare me more than placing my children's lives in the hands of hospital staff, heart goes out to you for going through the ordeal, excited for the day you guys get to go home as a family
We were there not long ago. We'll pray for you. Lord have mercy.

Take care of your family - events like this really focus our attention on what is really important.
Wow, it's been four months since my last Nostr Note. I missed you guys. Thank you for all the prayers; my daughter got out a couple of days after this post π. Life's been a beautiful whirlwind since. My daughter is beautiful, happy, and healthy. I am truly blessed. I can see what they mean when they say "it takes a village to raise a child." It took some struggling at first, but we are getting the hang of this parent thing and finally got some good routines.

Nostr, what have I missed? I've been lurking at times but not enough to stay on top of stuff. The latest nostr:nprofile1qqs874el2hv8tn5wm3fgahuz99yl624el8r9my22gq39vcas56tmupcprdmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucnfw33k76twwpshy6ewvdhk6qg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0qyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2aqhvklnz nostr:nprofile1qqsqfjg4mth7uwp307nng3z2em3ep2pxnljczzezg8j7dhf58ha7ejgpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqgcwaehxw309ac8yetdd96k6tnswf5k6ctv9ehx2aqpr9mhxue69uhhxetwv35hgtnwdaekvmrpwfjjucm0d54df670 with nostr:nprofile1qqsqgc0uhmxycvm5gwvn944c7yfxnnxm0nyh8tt62zhrvtd3xkj8fhgprdmhxue69uhkwmr9v9ek7mnpw3hhytnyv4mz7un9d3shjqg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uq3vamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwd4hhxarj9ec82c30hyvdwq got me excited. Has anyone made an Elon mirror account on Nostr yet? I might do it if it hasn't been done yet. What else has been built or improved on in the last four months I should check out? Stay humble, stack sats, and make babies π
