I met Mike Green years ago at a Bretton Woods event. Although we haven’t always agreed, his recent article is excellent. We’ll see when he comes around to understanding the solution.

"At the price he deserves.." some would say.

Beautiful to see this level of introspection and humility

isn’t the stuff he wrote about obvious? It’s good that someone collected all the facts and figures into one article though.

Obvious so some, but seeing someone who was heavily engaged in the fiat system begin to wake up is a good sign

is he someone ā€œheavily engaged in the fiat systemā€?? I read one of his previous posts (are you an American), and it sounds like he’s *been* very critical of the whole (imbalanced) setup of the US economic system and how the two political parties just talk a certain emotionally manipulative narrative while not having any real helpful actions.

Good to see minds evolving #BitcoinAlwaysWins

Love the ego less Jeff Booth humbly dunking on mo fos.

What a great read... No wonder bitcoin is so important.

As someone who doesn’t understand trad fi very well, this article was easy to read and understand. What he talks about is evident in the world around me everyday

He just need to get this.

Something that nostr:nprofile1qqsvf646uxlreajhhsv9tms9u6w7nuzeedaqty38z69cpwyhv89ufcqprpmhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet5qyf8wumn8ghj7ur4wfcxcetsv9njuetn0g4hd2 should incorporate in his mail bag Monday tonight. Perfect for what he’s always talking about

I liked that he agreed to meet me in person to try and find middle ground and then later debate me. Surprisingly civil guy

Wise guys often are civil.. please if possible make the debate watchable somewhere, would be super interesting for sure and for many IMHO.

This article reveals alot about the current fiat system. It's sad really...It's baffling to me how to fiat ponzi has gone on for sol long.

Wow seems to be nice šŸ‘šŸ’Æ

I’ve been thinking about this a lot today, and before we all start screaming from the rooftops that Bitcoin fixes this, I think it’s important to make a clear distinction. Bitcoin by itself does not fix anything. It is a tool, an exceptional one, but still a tool. The solution comes from people. People who understand the problem, use the tool wisely, and invest in educating others to strengthen the network and community.

The real progress comes from accelerated growth in the Bitcoin community and educating the masses. People like nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wvh8xmmrd9skcqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0s4rc0a and nostr:nprofile1qqsvf646uxlreajhhsv9tms9u6w7nuzeedaqty38z69cpwyhv89ufcqpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6ur4vgh8wetvd3hhyer9wghxuet5qyw8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzd96xxmmfdejhytnnda3kjctvl72gw3 who lead, build, and spread Bitcoin through conviction rather than profit is how that process anowballs. More people using Bitcoin as the tool for money and pure savings is how we fix it. We created the problem and Satoshi gave ā€œusā€ the tool to fix it.

Few people that I consider a complete waste of time, but Mike Green is on the list. You are better than me! šŸ˜‚

Those who honestly seek an answer will find it.

I have to admit, this article was pretty depressing to read while Bitcoin is down 9% YoY as of today. Bitcoiners like myself tout Bitcoin as the solution to debasement and rising cost of living, but it certainly doesn’t feel like a solution right now.

However, these moments when we feel down tend to be the best times to double down and stack, historically. It’s times like these where Bitcoin teaches you new ways to be humble and to seek the kingdom of God.
