The Texas govt exempts me from taxes and demands that I have a gun.
The programming is strong bro. I know ppl living under authoritarian governments in large part because the public is unarmed and when I tell that’s the reason they still go “uhh yeah idk about having ppl own guns”
America is an outlier
What I always tell those people is that there isn’t a single society on earth that doesn’t have guns. It’s just a question of who has them. In America we just came to the incredibly wise decision that everyone should have them.

Yeah that is what those are. It’s a 3d printed gun design that doesn’t require any gun parts. Usually when you print say a Glock lower you need to get a real Glock slide barrel etc. but this is all parts you can find at a department store plus the printed body. It’s meant for dissidents in heavy gun control zones just like this.
What backs up the freedom to think and speak?
The threat of violence.

That question feels like a trap lol so I’m not going to answer it.
That said in a broad societal sense often the threat of violence is enough.
Americans don’t believe in shooting everyone we disagree with or who causes an injustice. That’s not how it works. But the citizenry being well armed is an important bulwark against tyranny.
Because the government also works via the threat of violence and if it ever grows too tyrannical then the American people have the ability to fight back.

It’s important to have the ability to defend yourself.
Invalid question. People who disarm citizens or arrest people for thoughts on social media are not public servants. People who engage in illegitimate acts of government using the threat of state violence should always know getting shot by the citizens who wish to live in peace is an option.

read the book "the second amendment manifesto". it documents in great detain British "gun laws, sword laws, farm equipment laws.....dating waaaaay back. TLDR; the British have always been oppressed and our founding fathers specifically wrote 2a due to centuries of British subjects oppression.
