Any time I read bitcoin billionaire, this track autoruns in my head.

🧡 #Bitcoin 🧡

Laser eyes till fiat dies.

Never gets old, especially when the fed is doing fed things and #bitcoin doesn't care.

The fed ended the fed.

That's just beautiful. We'll be telling grandchildren this tale with a tear in our eye.

Is there an option to hide an individual note on #amethyst without having to block the user or unfollow?

One likes to keep one's feed family friendly, and maintain the illusion that time on nostr is a serious business. But then, a giant golden phallus will appear and... what now?

I'm staying clear of the global feed although to be honest it's all much better since I sorted out my relay choice and paid for some filters.

😁😇

I take the risk. Small amounts sent from main bank to challenger bank... which I then use to buy bitcoin. Figured if it gets frozen or compromised then the normal household stuff isn't affected.

Amazon gift cards seem viable too... for now, bezos bucks are a great medium of exchange.

I wondered if state was less interested in me buying monero, to then swap for bitcoin, rather than going straight fiat to bitcoin.

Lots to think about.

It's more the risk of my bank adding friction to the transaction and spoiling the deal... you know, that "are you sure you want to send money to another random pleb for undisclosed reasons... we think we'll just review your account for a couple of days before letting this through".

I'm still falling down that rabbit hole myself... coped for 40+ years as 'gifted but struggles with delivery', or otherwise 'could do better'... despite trying super hard, it seemed I would self sabotage.

Years of productivity hacking, trying to figure out purpose, reinventing myself etc... life is 'sucessful' on the surface but now trying to tame the wild bronco within.

Today's insight was that our kind of brain wire needs a strong why, either fascinating us or screaming urgency... the latter will always be there, but we can make our life more enjoyable by pursuing the former too.

IDK... learning out loud here 🤙

Yeah that's my journey.

Called gifted, special, strategic, creative... also absent minded, daydreamer, lazy, useless... it's a tension I lived with.

Labels are bad if they stick and become identity, otherwise they're stepping stones to help us name, frame, and explore a particular area.

Tiago Forte had this conference about building a second brain (note taking) and one session was given over to 'neurodivergent', basically three high functioning adults with ADHD talking candidly about their world... and a light went on for me... leading to yet another rabbit hole of discovery.

I'm more than ADHD, more than WARY (widowed and remarried young), more than a professional engineer, more than... etc, but I can't deny these things make up part of my experience and therefore colour my identity in some way... even if as a bridge to something else.

🤙

First play with Mj5.

Something something Michael Saylor and Nikolai Tesla talking #Bitcoin and #Lightning in an industrial setting, something something #Bitcoin logo clearly seen in the background.

Artistic licence to be sure, but... spot on with the Bitcoin logo and the vibe.

😂💜⚡

For #MarchoffTwitter Nostriches who don't want to burn their eyes.

If you want #amethyst on #fdroid you'll need to add the izzysoft repo first.

Here's the link or otherwise go to their site and verify direct.

Once added, search again in fdroid and voilà... latest amethyst, no need for playstore or aurora.
