If you are a bored developer maybe you will be interested in implementing simple NIP-23 Nostr sources support on some open-source RSS reader apps out there for something like $800 each.
The goal is to make it work, record some screencasts and open PRs. If they will merge or not that's their decision and we don't care.
The feature is just to support pasting npub, nip05 or nprofile URIs, use relay hints if available or fetch write relays from kind:10002, then fetch new kind:30023 articles from these relays periodically just like the app already fetches RSS feeds from URLs. No need to bother with comments, likes, anything for now.

My feed is mostly users I follow so those profiles are already cached, but if you follow a lot of hashtags then you might be seeing a lot of notes from users you don't follow. Same with quoted or reposted notes > those notes might appear in your feed and the zap ⚡️ icon might not until the note is opened

If you're on nostr and you're pointing at any metrics, such as view counts, on legacy social platforms as "proof" of engagement, then you need to spend more time here.

I think you will always "find" what youre looking for if you look hard enough. And i think voting machines are garbage. Combine those things and you have people who have been told "they're going to cheat to win the election", "finding" ways that they're being cheated via garbage voting machines. And social media adds gas to the fire.
The relay list in the zap event comes from the client that does the zapping, right?
