I'm a huge fan of the extended mix for "Come Together" by Nox Vahn & Marsh. It has some great snippets from Alan Watts. Much more upbeat and something I can't help dancing to, but also offers a lot of room for introspection.
If you like that, I'll have to think of some others. I love things in this realm of sound
I'd recommend the track "Sit Around the Fire" by Jon Hopkins. The recordings of Ram Dass sharing this were woven into a beautiful piece
Isn't that the exact logo as Github's Atom editor? I like it, just not sure if you were aware of that. I thought of it immediately upon seeing it.
Although, they somewhat recently sunset Atom to develop VS Code further.
### #Amethyst v0.79.10: Full black dark theme
Let us know if full black is better or if we should go back to the grayish background it was before
Download:

I prefer the grey, because of things that can affect the user experience, like ghosting with pure black. Typically, the grey won't appear to ghost, while pure black will with scrolling/animations.
Full black is rough for reading text in my opinion. It also seems it might be subjectively harder to focus on pure black backgrounds for those with stronger astigmatisms.
I think an option for both could work. Maybe a new settings option to choose between dark and black for dark mode. Or an on/off switch to enable pure black in dark mode
I came across this post from nostr:npub1de6l09erjl9r990q7n9ql0rwh8x8n059ht7a267n0q3qe28wua8q20q0sd. It might help you get started 🤙
I'd recommend the Waking Up app from Sam Harris, it's full of guided meditations. The introductory course is free to do, and there's a bunch of different series on theories of mindfulness and life. Super high quality 🔥
I'll keep you accountable and we do one lesson a day of the introductory course together. I've been wanting to go through it again. Maybe we can get some other people to join in if they're interested.
#mindstr #mindfulness 🫂
Looks like #Brave is confirming efforts to bring native #Bitcoin support to Brave Wallet... I'm interested to see how this could pan out.
nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr announced nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg Android app has been released publicly in alpha.
If you want to add it to Obtainium to continue tracking the updates, make sure you flick the switch under additional options to "include prereleases" or a suitable release won't be found. This is because it's tagged as a pre-release on GitHub.
You can add it through Obtainium by searching for "Primal Android App" on the add app tab. Or alternatively, you can paste the GitHub link to the app source URL line:
Of course. Here's the easiest spot to dig in. I'd love to get into it myself some day
I'm curious what android devs/designers think about Material Design 3, in particular Material You theming? From an outsiders perspective, someone who doesn't use the components as a dev, but interacts with them daily on Graphene as a user, I personally love it.
I see a lot of design issues coming down to color theming, would I be mistaken to assume that Material You might help mitigate some of those difficulties for Android clients? In my opinion, the dynamic color system feels really intuitive and easy to adjust for taste on the users end.
I'd be curious to hear opinions from anyone that's worked with the system
It's the default AOSP keyboard. It hasn't been updated in a long time by Google, because of GBoard and other OEMS developing their own keyboards, like Samsung. For the most part, Google just releases security updates for the AOSP apps. All of Graphene's apps (with the exception of auditor, pdf viewer, apps, and the camera) are the default AOSP ones that don't really get maintained by Google, except for the regular security patches.
Florisboard is the keyboard that the Graphene team was debating to replace the AOSP keyboard with eventually, I assume after it gets past an Alpha state. It's the closest you'll get to Gboard or iOS level from the open source options. You could always use Graphene's extended toggles to revoke sensor or network permissions from invasive things like Gboard as well
On the default keyboard, hold down on the enter button, it should show the emoji symbol, then release
Just use Google's Keyboard (GBoard), revoke network permissions. Works perfectly
This is the way, here's the source for that:

I'd recommend checking their discussion forum or matrix rooms if you can't find any info on things. Their main website docs are really well written too
His portfolio is nuts, beautiful work. I really like the design universe he's working on for Block. I'm sure there's more people to credit, but his stuff has stood out
I've been a huge fan of Blocks Creative Studio designs. I did some digging to find out who works on this stuff, and I found Sekani! I love their work, I wonder if Sekani will be on nostr someday 🤔
That's nuts, #GrapheneOS initial support for the Pixel Tablet has been released 🤯 that was ridiculously quick. Exciting times ahead
I use 'Feeder' and 'Read You'. Both free, open source, and for Android. You can export your subscriptions to OPML
