That scene in pulp fiction when the dude busts into the room w a huge revolver and misses every shot. If i was to go against someone w no training, i hope they have a revolver not an AR
Its wild to think of handing a hand gun w an 8 pound trigger to someone unfamiliar. Or a 12 ga to someone of Lynns stature. Im certain she could handle either w practice but till then i hope she has an AR in her closet.
Exporting western values(freedom tech of btc) > importing refugees.
Moving refugees around is misunderstanding the problem. Freedom and property rights are civilization. Too many are blinded by short term empathy to the real solution.
Further, if we donāt understand our praxiological reasons for Americas success, how do we intend to keep it?
My original reply to Lyn:
AR-15s are the superior platform today because they are easy to control even if you are a small person(low recoil), very accurate because we are accountable for our actions, low maintenance(basically dont need cleaning only occasional lube), high capacity magazines mean you can defend against multiple attackers, and they are effective at close or long ranges.
Pistols are much harder to get proficient with and require weekly practice or youāll loose the skill. But if you are interested in carrying a weapon, get the largest pistol you can comfortably carry. Glock 19 is the Toyota truck of the pistols. The Glock 43X is great smaller option.
A sovereign individual is the primary force of peace in their world. A centralized force of peace officers fall prey to the same problems that plague any centralized system.
Nope. They need lube with use but dont need cleaning. Spend more time shooting. Guns dont need cleaning.
These are not serious people
Make the world you want to live in. Im surrounded by closed minds irl so i can be reminded here im not the only crazy like me.
You could add your own perspectives tho on another topic. I wont stop you goldboi.
My tiny 65 yo mom shoots my glock 19 almost better than me.
Just got the 43. So much nicer carrying instead of that heavy ass 19
I question the critical thinking skills of anyone who comes up w a different answer than this.

Tie w no shirt is gold
Bro. This is gold. What area are you in? Im in Detroit looking to make my way back toward a more dispersed living arrangement.
Ruger 10/22 if you're wanting small game or plinking.
Glock 19 if you're wanting a defensive handgun.
10/22 will always be under rated.
Glock 19 is a wonderful reasonably priced starter gun that most people never grow out of. In fact many compete with stock Glocks. Very fun to shoot, 9mm ammo is cheap, will last forever, plus you look like a pro at the range
The Glock 19 is the Toyota pickup of the gun world. There are plenty of more expensive options but many professionals compete with stock Glocks. See Ben Stoeger for great advice on this. Once a cary piece is secured a family man should own a decent AR 15 to defend the castle. After these categories are covered its important to have fun and enjoy the hobby. Get weird stuff/cool guns and practice often. I love old revolvers.
