Alby scheduled payments is a beta of a subscription service for Nostr and Bitcoin in general but yes it does need to become more fleshed out.

That's okay. I can't pay the invoice without setting up a wallet. I thought I could use Alby.

I used to run the Alby extension in the Orion browser. Then it got buggy and have not tried again since.

Never zapped in primal, but for snort I had to setup a wallet connection.

Under-appreciated UX friction for normal people:

Every time I restart my computer and open my browser, Alby's login comes up. I keep my Alby login in Bitwarden, so I then open Bitwarden, type in my master password, search for Alby, copy the password, and paste it into Alby. Only then can I use Coracle.

Bonus for the nostr crowd, I do plan on implementing the ability to send sats to podcasts that are part of the value4value podcasting 2.0 spec. Probably just going to use alby and try to copy how podcast index does it. I think anyways, I'll find out when I get that far!

You were right…it’s choppy. I tried setting up my get Alby extension and somehow put the wrong private key and it won’t let me delete it. I may have to reach out to the Get Alby

Alby requires email for creating a new Alby account...that's strange to me...though you can connect other wallets to Alby.

Yeah so I had around 250,000 sats in there this morning. This was just the last time I had opened Alby to check my balance. Maybe we all *are* psychopaths.

I sure wish I could figure out how to track it. I just looked at my alby wallets and non of my zaps have shown up for the last 8 days. If I can track it to deduct it I'm not sure the strategy is viable

Y’all may know I lost my FIL last Friday. We spread his ashes today. I had been stuck, trying to get wallets to connect to Alby. For two weeks, I couldn’t zap anyone because WoS was now empty (after I had zapped down my balance), all zaps went to Alby, once I signed up for it, and as I said, were stuck there. I really feel my FIL being released from mortal this mortal coil, released my ability to finally understand how to make the connection. That’s all ♡
