My dad gave me one of those as a kid an explained how money used to be backed by gold and silver. He grew up working as a goldsmith's apprentice in Greece as a kid.

Really wish I could have made it this year, but wife & I definitely want to go in 2024.
You can take all the Vitamin D you want (and I do, especially in the winter), but nothing replaces the sun.
Call it SAD or whatever - winters take a toll on my psyche. I feel an urge to hibernate 3-4 months out of the year.
Sun is a the greatest drug. I just go back from Florida and the trip snapped me out of this funk. I feel focused and energized.
Need to make a permanent move soon™️.
