I just watched "Mountainhead" on HBO. Funny and terrifying at the same time. Definitely worth to watch.

Switching is very easy. Adapting a WM to your expectations may be a challenge. It depends on what you need and your knowledge. If you know Linux on an advanced level, you know basics of scripting and Python, it could be quite easy. If not, it would require more time to find solutions.

DEs give you an easier path: almost everything is in GUI. And in my opinion, KDE dominates in that topic. But personally I like Cinnamon, as well. And Gnome was my first DE ever (maaaaaany years ago...).

Still, on older comps (which I usually use) WMs make much more sense in case you need graphical environment and I like using them.

We would like to invite everyone to join us at:

Bitcoin Lake & BBQ in #Poznan, #Poland

Sunday 3/8 12pm

Meeting point: Bitcoin Rabbit

https://osmand.net/map?pin=52.45999,16.82990#20/52.45999/16.82990

We’ll then find a tree-shaded spot and light the BBQ.

Bring your own food, drinks and tableware. There's also an option to order burger patties or sweet potato medallions (AKA orange coins).

A towel and a swimsuit will come in useful too if you fancy some immersion cooling. Water in the lake has excellent quality and its temperature surely won’t exceed 21℃.

This time, we’re exceptionally setting the date well in advance without relying on the weather forecast. The motivation is to give Bitcoiners from other regions time to organize transport and visit our area.

Plan B – if it’s not warm enough for the lake, we’ll take a walk in the city center.

Plan C – if it’s raining, we’ll sip freshly squeezed orange juice in Posnania.

If you find value in those events, please feel encouraged to send the value to folks contributing to their organisation/promotion.

Not sure of I can make it to Strzeszynek on that day but send you best greetings from Kaszuby 🙂

U nas mieliśmy kiedyś osobę, która kopiowała liczby do kolumny w Excelu, po czym otwierała kalkulator, na którym wszystko dodawała i wpisywała wynik ręcznie na dole kolumny 😄

Hm... Jeżeli to prawda, to jest bardzo kiepsko. Jeśli nie, to też nie najlepiej, bo poszło w świat.

Sorry, but using for what? I'm using tons of apps.

Zachęcam do zajrzenia, zwłaszcza jeśli jesteś użytkownikiem Windows 10.

W razie potrzeby służę pomocą 🙂

Oh, man, I have had so many similar situations... 😁 Recently I insisted my colleague should have applied for a specific access within a project I am coordinating. He was surprised but agreed to do it under the pressure I put on him. And I could not believe he was so unreliable. Until I found minutes of the initial meeting where I told everyone I will be the only person to apply for that access 😶

Which proves that even the smartest people sometimes say a nonsense.

When Oshiro struggled to move in step, the instructor suggested she take some side lessons in karate — the martial art invented in her hometown …

One of great masters of Shorin-ryū. Highly recommended to train at her dojo when visiting Okinawa.
