Ouep c'est une de mes pistes privilégiées effectivement
In case you don't know you can already use Boltz Exchange to swap trustlessly between Liquid, BTC on-chain, BTC LN, it works pretty well.
The thing is it has to be really easy to use cause they are not a Bitcoin website. So their potential donators would be really basic Bitcoin users, potentially using exchanges to donate lol 😆
The best UX would be a donation button with a unified QR code popping IMO.
Yes it’s also a possibility indeed
Does LNbits support on-chain on just LN
I think they will be keeping it on the long term as it will be a small percentage of their donation at least at start, unless they really need cash for their activity of course.
Yes exactly. This is why it’s not a no brainer especially for non Bitcoiner people who don’t care about trusting a 3rd party for 1 week and really small amounts
What are the best solutions to accept Bitcoin donations on your website as a no-coiner but freedom lover ?
I have BTCPay Server (full self custody but a bit harder to set up even with Voltage), and Opennode in mind (no self custody but free weekly withdrawals and 1% fee on all payments)
What are the other possibilities that I’m missing ?

Yes maybe in some rare case it's to complicated.
But for example on Robosats anyone willing to pay a 3/4% premium can easily buy 1500 USD in just a couple of minute using only Strike as a fiat mean of payment in the US.
And many other options are available
Unless you buy more than 1000 USD a day of Bitcoin which is extremely rare, it's really feasible IMO, and really worth it.

It’s a mystery for me why advanced Bitcoiners continue to use KYC solutions to buy their coins. Does the convenience worth more than privacy ?
Unless of course you buy such amounts that it becomes difficult due to small volume on P2P market places, we now have BISQ, Robosats, Peach, HodlHodl and more for P2P trading and our DCAs.
Come on guys be a good model for noobs on every aspect on your Bitcoin journey if you can !
Yep but not concerning the on-chain footprint. Now it seems you can potentially coordinate huge conjoin transactions over LN.
Add blinded path and Taproot channels and Bitcoin will be private enough for the average Bitcoin user IMO
Splicing is huge right ? I mean trustless Coinjoins transactions over LN ? It becomes a nightmare for Chain Analysis companies.

😆
Yep 0,4% of 50000 USD is the price of your “cheap” NUC
Who is like me still zapping from each note on the nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 TestFlight app ?
According to you guys is nostr already resilient enough to resist a nation state attack from the US and EU combined in case of Silkroad 2.0 happening on nostr ?
Won’t most of the relays operators feel the pressure and censor this notes, making it no more difficult to shut down than a single server ?
